g'morning sonya!
this weekend, nothing really. mike had been away this week, so i guess we'll all just spend some family time :)
i have papers to grade and an exam to write, so that too.  plus painting the kitchen more (should go to paint store today). i also need to figure out window treatments (i hate dealing with windows - definitely my weak area in decorating).
you?

Good morning

We don't have much planned this weekend (thank god).

I have to go to the house today so the tiler can finish grouting by the door - hopefully just a few minutes.

Then I'm having lunch with Cheri tomorrow (I hope) and Sunday is the daycare picnic. That should be really fun and the weather is supposed to be really nice.

Good morning Kelly!

I hate windows too. I'm absolutely useless when it comes to decorating in general.

I'm feeling all woozie this morning. Too much coffee and much exhaustion i think.

josie's been waking at 5 and coming into bed with us. she's very good to lay between us for an hour or so (she sometimes goes back to sleep) but it's like she's trying to get back inside of me. she has to be muckled on to me at every point possible.

so she and mike sleep but I don't.

GM!

We didn't have plans for the weekend, but the town over is having a huge festival.  We might stop by.

I'm at my breaking point, i think.

i'm not doing any of my many jobs well right now.

i'm a sucky mom

i'm an even suckier wife

i'm a sucky employee (as you can tell by the fact that theoretically I'm at work right now, lmao)

and i'm completely failing as a housekeeper.

awesome.

I need a vacation from my life for just a day or two.

Dear makers of special agent oso.  Make new episodes.  If I have to watch the show and tell episode one more time, I might kick the television.  thanks.

that stinks. R used to be that way. C hates sleeping with us, which is good in a way, but bad in another bc she's ready to be up for the day at 5, and will not just hang in bed at all.

i felt woozie yesterday, also attributing it to too much caffeine. also PMSy and exhausted.  tell cheri i said hello, i've been meaning to email her.

windows - i hate it. i dont like overly plain windows bc it doesnt match with my house (ie, we dont have a modern house so sparse window treatments look weird) - yet i hate when the windows overwhelm the room.  roman shades are nice and all, but....i always feel like it's such a tailored look (even the relaxed ones). ug.

Sonya, you've had so much on your plate, of course you are feeling exhausted.  I can't even imagine the move and prepping the house for sale on top of everything.

our friend eli had to stay here last night. he got hit in the head with a squash ball yesterday. he felt awful and couldn't understand what people were saying to him so he went to the doctor and he had a concussion. his wife was out of town so his mother made him come here (lmao). we were glad to have him.

apparently, we saved him from a night of constant phone calls from his mom.

It is, I'm a lot busier than normal.  I was promoted last year which was basically my old job but with more responsibilities.  Now, my old job (overseeing the upperclass apartments) is twice as busy.  So I have a twice as busy job, plus added responsibilities.  No time!!!

I'm just whining.  I'll add all the positives next...

good morning.

not too many plans this weekend. dan is off for a few days. i made the mistake of trying to change my antidepressant to save money. yesterday i paid for it so dan had to take care of everyone all day yesterday. NOT how  i wanted his time off to go.

so.... today he's sleeping in as late as he wants & then is just free to relax and do whatever today.

the kids and i have a little running around to do this morning and then they have school this afternoon.

other than my ww meeting sunday morning i have nothing else going.

So here is the good stuff.

Travis, after this semester, is one class away from finishing his doctoral coursework.  Then, on to that little paper.

He is rocking in his grad position, and I think may be offered a job at the end of the year.  We'll see.

We are down to one credit card (once my check clears).  One.  I never shared how in debt we were, but back when we got pregnant with Koda, Dr. Phile might have loved to do an intervention.  It was bad.  I just paid off another school loan last month :)

I am only 20 months or so from being a SAHM.  Now that it is near it scared the shiznit out of me.  I say this as my kids are having a screaming match right behind me.

first - you are NOT a sucky mom. your kids are wonderful, happy, adorable, genius children. they don't get that way alone.

second - i doubt you are a sucky wife. hell, i saw your boobs the first day we met so i'm SURE mike is doing ok wink

third - you *may* be a sucky employee. i'm totally just effing with you to make you smile.

hang in there. you have SO much on your plate right now and if you're not sleeping well that will make things a million times harder.  i will send up some prayers that your house sells asap & things settle down nicely for you.

:superhugs

I am really trying to work on it but I feel so emotionally and mentally spent that it is hard.

Charlie is at such a hard age where he knows what he should be doing but relishes in not doing it. Josie is two. 100% two. SHOOT ME. She can be an absolute dream and then turn into a complete monster.

I need to find another way of dealing with them. Does anyone remember the name of the book that Tex posted a while ago. Yelling and screaming and threatening them is not working (I know you're shocked). lol
