Good morning!

Is there a word (or words) you wish your kids would stop saying?

Good Morning! Nothing I wish they'd stop saying, well, Carter's only real word is Mom and he tends to scream it at the top of his lungs over and over just for fun and it gets old. Braydon is actually using expressions a lot these days and I find it funny. "Wow, we blew them away, didn't we Mom?" or "We ran right over them!" All said nicely usually about football.

Let the busy, busy week begin!

Charlie's been working out how to use the word "Never". It's awesome. Shoot me.

I'll NEVER eat that. I'll NEVER play with that balloon. I'll NEVER get dressed.

I'd NEVER like to hear the word NEVER again.

mikey's is more of a phrase. whenever he doesn't like something or doesn't want to do something he says

"nope, too small"

no matter what. don't get me wrong, i think it's super cute - i just don't that he's soooooo closed off about some things.

I am right there with you. This is Allison's #1 excuse to everything. It is pure lazy on her behalf.

Good morning

I can't think of any word right now that I wish she'd stop saying.  She talks so much, I don't know if she says the same word twice in a day  lmao.gif

I've got such a busy week ahead!

This weekend is my 20th year high school reunion, and I'm on the reunion committee (don't know how I got roped into that one)

So, starting Wednesday,  I'm going to be busy with that;  gettting registration packets together, decorating, etc..  The parade is Friday afternoon, the game and meet and greet that night, picnic Saturday and the dinner that night.  I don't think we're going to the picnic..the older two want to go spend the night at Kenneth's parents, so he's going to take them after the parade Friday I think so he can get on back and be my "arm candy" (his words lmao.gif") for the night.

Then on top of all that, I've got to take Kenley to the hearing clinic Thursday to check her.  Don't really know what they'll do, I guess just check her hearing aid?

Right there with you. Its so frustrating especially since I know he can.

"I need attention."

EVERYTHING is about how "he needs attention." Its his excuse for everything- why he didn't clean up after himself, why he's behaving poorly, why he won't do his chores, why he won't go to bed. Its like he thinks we're dumb enough to buy it each and every time.

Jennie I would love it K said she needed attention when I asked her why shes acting up. I just get I dunno. Thats pretty impressive for a 4 year old to say imo. I know when K gets more attention she acts better. However I could see it getting old if she used it for EVERYTHING.

for me its either NO or when she talks fake spanish and expects me to understand.

Boobs.

Questions about boobs.

Comments about boobs.

Asking people at the grocery store why their baby eats from a bottle, when they could "totally breastfeed and that's like eating a boob."

LMAO! Fake Spanish? That's awesome! .

It is impressive but then its an excuse for everything- why he didn't want to eat, clean up his mess, be quiet in church- Literally.

We're in the age of excuses. He's supposed to be picking up those foam puzzle mat pieces he decided to scatter to the winds in the living room. I told him if he finished, I'd let him watch a movie OnDemand. He said, "I can't. My legs are just too tired. I'm so out of breath."

I tell him again to pick up. "I can't go on. I'm too out of breath."

Oh my word. Dramatic much?

I have so much freaking cleaning to do. Literally every room in this house needs to be picked up by tomorrow Wednesday. My "Preferred Mom" and her husband are coming for the weekend and I want this place to sparkle but I have so much work INSIDE and OUT to do I don't think I'll get it done. The front porch needs organized and cleaned, the backyard needs mowed and picked up.

And I go it alone.

Wednesday is WoW! Wednesday at our new church. Colin is part of the group called "Building Blocks" which is the children's choir for his age group. Its almost an hour's worth of free time with DH. We sit in the fellowship hall and talk to other parents. :) But we're gone until 7:30 b/c we stay for dinner, put the kids in the nursery, and then go to our class.

I'm sitting on the floor of my empty bedroom out at the house while the tilers are at work downstairs. I was working in the spare room (on the bed) but my battery died on my laptop and the only three prong plug upstairs is in our room.

There. More than you ever wanted to know about what Sonya is doing right this second. :)
