Why do most Christians celebrate Jesus birthday on Dec. 25th?  When it is not his birthday. I had never learned this before.


No debate. I just really am confused.

Well no one actually seems to know his actual birthday

My pastor preaches a sermon every christmas on what different things in our traditions came to be.

I think it has to do with the time of year they would have gone to do the census in their hometowns and based on the shepards garding their flocks in that area they would have done so in these months or something to that effect. So its an edjucated guess.

yeah, but everything I read said it would not be in Dec then.
