Good Morning!

We have LOTS of fun plans this weekend.

Tonight we're going on a hayride with Mikey's preschool.

Saturday we're taking the kids to go fishing, then Dan is taking Jake over to see a ceremony with 50 medal of honor winners and then they're going to the movies. I might take my kids over to my sister's to play or to my parent's house..

Sunday is my WW meeting w/my friend and then I think I'm heading out to donate platelets. I'm past due.

Good morning, Sara!

I think for once, we don't really have anything planned.

I'm at the house today and I think they don't work weekends (the tilers) so I'm pretty sure, we're free this weekend.

The apartment is still in a state of total disarray so hopefully, I get a bit more unpacked. I'd like to do something fun with the kids.

Sunday is Open Farm day in Nova Scotia - all kinds of farms open their doors and you can visit and see how things work. We may do that.

I would love a nap at some point. haha.

i'm hoping to take my kids to the zoo today.

mikey has been asking to go for a while and they don't have school today.

i just don't think i feel like taking all 3 of them by myself. i plan on calling my dad to see if he wants to come with me. he likes the zoo and i have a membership so if we pack our lunch it will be free.

Good morning!

It's pouring down rain AGAIN today.

It's the 4th day in a row, and the forecast call for more and more rain.

We need to get started on building our ark this weekend, I think.

Other than that, no plans really.

Braydon has his first flag football game in the morning.  We are going to go and clean the carpets at my brother's house on Sunday.  Other than that, our weekend is wide open.

i also LOVE feeling productive and i've gotten a lot of things done this week.

Good morning!

My Mom is going to be here today! clap.gif Saturday we are going to an outdoor concert that ends with fireworks.  My Mom is going to take E home and watch her so Robert and I can have a date.  Sunday is Robert's birthday so Elizabeth and I will probably make him a cake and decorate it.  I guess I should buy him a present from her. giggle.gif My Dad's birthday is Monday so I am late getting anything sent to him too. Whoops.

Sappy, are you going to the Brookfield zoo?  We went there (finally) about a year ago.  I really liked it.  I will keep in mind you have a membership so if we get our act together you could maybe meet us there.  biggrin

ETA:  I may have the zoo name wrong but it's Brook something I think. confuse

Hey chickies.

Not too much going on here, which is good since we've been so busy this week.

Hannah has a soccer game in the morning, then she is going to spend the night with my mom. Joe and I are going out to a friend's bbq to eat, hang, and play some jarts. I'm also on cd 13, so we've gotta get other stuff done, too, lmao.

I think Hannah is doing something with my mil Sunday afternoon but idk.

I'm hoping for this weekend to be relaxing.  Last weekend was a nightmare with a birthday party going on, plus a tea party, church, two church meetings, etc.  This weekend I just have my birthday celebration and church.  There's also a church party, but we haven't decided whether to go or not.  I might head to walmart to spend my birthday money from my mom.

Ugh.

We were going to go to the fair but decided to save our money. Its going to rain all weekend so what's the point in going? And if we get caught in the rain we're stuck either looking for a place to hide or wading back to the car and since all DH does is complain about how he hates crowds, I decided to skip it.

Besides, there is a certain 4 year old whose behavior has not been up to par or fair-worthy. And with such a large crowd, I'm worried he'll dart off and get lost. He's into that now.
bleh

Other than that- waiting to see if a friend of mine and her husband are moving and need help.
And DH's BFF and his wife are due on Saturday with their third girl. :) Waiting for that to happen.

She said two weeks ago it was "any day now" but haven't heard a thing. Her EDD is the 19th. Ah, the waiting.

And then church on Sunday!

We're going to my moms tomorrow and then to my dad's on Sunday. Should be a fun weekend, but slightly busy. Oh well, the kids will love it!

Well, I swam to church (practically) and read to Mark's preschool class.

I read No, David! at his request and Mommy, Go Away! because I like to read that one.

Mark's teachers asked if I would come back and read in October.

Too bad for them I already signed up to come read again in September. :giggle

It is still raining buckets.

Sigh.

Oh how I miss hayrides.

We don't do them here for some reason.

Perhaps it's because it's still in the 80s/90s, IDK.

Sounds like a great weekend!

I'm supposed to be working ATM, but I don't feel like it. :)

(It's taking me a LONG time to build up stamina again, that's for sure)

So......

Tomorrow is my usual Saturday morning long run & massage, followed by college football. My beloved Huskers are playing a relatively big game at Virginia Tech at 2:30. I am skeptical that we'll win, but hope we do.

I need to organize the girls' closets this weekend, and get a handle on my pantry (also in total disarray). And a large portion of my weekend time now goes to preparation for the week. The new world order around here is completely hectic, but very fulfilling.

There's also something called a chocolate festival going on that I feel I might not be able to pass up!
