BTW Apies-dyk that we have a MASSIVE boat show here in Annapolis? When we lived downtown, we had to plan around it because it gets CRAZY here. We also had to plan our wedding weekend around boat show weekends. One week is sailboats and one is powerboats.

I'm sure you could find something here... biggrin.gif

If you decide to come-you will probably not have much luck finding hotels at this point (at least not anything reasonable!!), but we have lots of family here, and I could always ask my ILs if you could use Bill's grandmother's house or something!! (IHNI how they would feel about that, but it doesn't hurt to ask!!  And it is waterfront!!!)  We can definitely find a place for you to sleep!!

omg, you are so sweet!  heart.gif

i just looked and 2 of the top boat brands we are considering are not going to be there.

i need to do some more research into that show to know what exactly will be there for us to see.

this reminded me - what's going on with your car situation?  popcorn.gif

Okay, Henry's here now.

And of course, even though I told Glen I was leaving and to please get Mark's pajamas on him and even though Mark fussed and insisted that he wanted to wait for Daddy for his pajamas, Mark was still in his clothes when I got home from getting Henry.

Glen was spider-hunting in the backyard.

I JUST NOW heard the back door open, and Glen is FINALLY in the house.

Well boo hiss!!!

My car is back-they covered the repair, thank God.  I was ready to fight them on it tooth and nail!!!  It is covered (the engine is) under an extended warranty for 3 more years, so that is good.  I still want to get rid of it before anything else goes wrong, but for now-it is paid for and fixed, so I think we are going to hang onto it for a while longer and try to save the money we *were* spending on the car payment towards the next car so that we can go without a car payment when I buy something else.

I hate VW!!!  But thank you for asking!!!

And seriously-if you do decide to come down to the boat show-lmk and we will arrange something for you!!!

Ok-I am out!  HAGN!!!

It seems dh is confused about why I am irritated with his vigilance about protecting us from spiders.

I had to get Mark ready for bed and put him in bed.

Glen asked me if I was going to thank him for killing the spiders in our backyard.

I had to say, "I am not afraid of black widow spiders."

Just now, I had to pause my typing because he was trying to convey how much grave danger we were in.

He acts like I'm mentally retarded for not caring.

Maybe I need to learn German.

That reminds me.

I always use dryer sheets when I dry my clothes.

Glen washes his own laundry and NEVER uses a dryer sheet.

When he needs to wash clothes and there's something in the washer, he'll switch it to the dryer and won't add a dryer sheet.

One time, he told me (with a completely straight face) that those dryer sheets were dangerous because sometimes they fall out of my laundry onto the floor in front of the dryer, and he almost slipped on one.

And he could have broken his neck.

I almost had to go to the eye doctor after that because I sprained my eyes from rolling.

April, seriously, when he was standing there, he was telling me to look up on the computer how poisonous black widow spiders were.

I was like, "Why, why, why would I do that? Why would ANYONE do that?"

And he was like, "Because they're really dangerous. Blah, blah, blah, blah."

He should be banned from the computer.

Or at least the internet.

I thought of some excellent points to make, like "Automobiles are very dangerous. They kill people every single day."

But then I thought he might develop a fear of cars and start trying to rid the world of them.

Sigh.

If I had $20, I'd hand it right to you.

Wouldn't it be great if it turned out that her mom was the killer?

Or the detective?

Or some random stranger?

April - I haven't gotten a premium membership yet either.

First, we have less than no money at the moment.

Second, I look in that Cocktail section to see when the last posts were, and it doesn't seem to be very busy.
