IHNI what we are having for dinner tonight. I think I will defrost some chicken tenders because they defrost quick.

I never like to make much on Thursdays. We have pizza on Fridays, and then we aren't that big into eating leftovers on the weekends. However, I do sing at church on Saturday, so unless we go out to eat after church (entirely possible), we will need leftovers to have Saturday night.

Maybe we will just have chicken and rice-but I have no fresh veggies-boo hiss. I might have some acceptable in the freezer...

Wednesday nights at 9pm-it is sooooo good!!!  I think you can watch episodes online that you may have missed.

We're having one of my friend's chicken dishes,  Italian Chicken.

All you do is:

mix 8 oz cream cheese with dry italian dressing mix (good seasons), slather it on chicken tenderloins, wrap with bacon, season with garlic salt and pepper. cook for an hour or so until bacon is browned at 400.

I don't use tenderloins though, I just use boneless, skinless, breasts, so it takes a tad bit longer to cook

It's soooo good

Jenn, I am sure I have the salsa recipe somewhere of you don't find the link-I think it is on the desktop in my docs there.

Hmmm...I just looked and didn't see it here. IDK how to get to the old site.

I'll dig it up and post it for you.

Jenn, here is the recipe. I use cilantro instead of parsley-salsa should have cilantro, IMO. And I have used pickled jalapenoes in place of the fresh and not had any problem with it.:

Salsa

Ingredients
1 1/2 cans canned tomatoes with juice
3 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 lime, juice of
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup snipped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 dashes Tabasco sauce

Directions
1Process in food processor or blender for just a few seconds for chunky salsa or a bit longer for a smoother texture.

Oh, and this is the 28oz cans.  And I just adjust the amounts because I hate to use 1/2 a can, so I either do one can or 2.  It doesn't have to all be exact.

THANKS!!

One more thing.  When you substitute the cilantro for the parsley, do you still use 1/4 cup?

It's really good.  And you have to have the cream cheese softened of course, so it'll spread well.

That makes sense.  Sounds so good!!!  I wonder if the girls will eat it.  They hate pretty much everything I actually cook, lol.

My girls did, but they're not picky eaters at all.  If they hate everything you cook anyway, I'd go for it, lol

LOL-ITA.  I guess I should clarify that they don't actually hate everything I cook, but they *think* they will.  They definitely judge before they eat, and then when they try it, sometimes they are pleasantly surprised.  But they are way picky, especially Anna!!  I have probably somehow created that-IDK.  But they will get over it eventually, or they will be making themselves their own dinners!!

I wonder if CSI is going to get better this year. I like Laurence Fishburne, don't get me wrong, but without Gil Grissom, the show just isn't the same. I found myself losing interest.

I hope it improves!!

I want a new computer. My screen is cracked and I can just replace that though. But I *want* a new computer. I wonder how much I could get for this one with the screen cracked? Probably not much. Probably about as much as I could pay for a new screen.

I need to stop thinking about a nice shiny new computer, lol. I'm such a sucker for new toys.

 i mail mine

i'm still leary on online bill pay, especially after my friend's banking acct got hacked into.  she paid all her stuff online, and someone in England hacked into her acct and stole EVERYTHING, and they didn't know about it until a day later.

they were on vacation, and went to the atm, and had NOTHING left in their acct
