So DH got back from hunting last night. He got one moose like 2-3 days ago, But I did get a call yesterday morning at 5 saying they had gotten another moose...... Too bad it was with the motorhome. They had hit a moose on the way home so DH had to drive all 4 hours or so back to town hang the moose they got, pick up our new truck, and drive all the way back out there to get the hunting rig on the trailer and the 4 wheelers on another trailer.

Poor guy was up since Tues morning until last night.

And now I only have 4 days until he leaves for work again. cryThat makes a whole maybe 5 days with him in 6 weeks.cry

Good morning!

Today I like Thursday because there is still a glimmer of hope that my dh might be taking tomorrow off along with Monday.  Since we haven't had supper with him all week it would be nice to see him again.

Sonya I am so glad you love your apartment.  How are your other family members adjusting?  What does the cat think of all this?

Sappy I hope that today goes better than it sounds.

Jenn September is full of birthdays of great people.  Two of my very good friends, dh, brother, and dad all have September birthdays.

mine too!  my mil's was the 3rd, my dad's is the 23rd,  my uncle's is the 30th, my parent's anniversary is the 18th, my grandparent's anniversary was the 17th,  i think that's it, lol

Sonya I like the couch!  It's classic and not a print.  I am not a fan of printed furniture.

Melissa that stinks that your time with our dh is cut so short.  I am not a fan of lots of separation myself.

Ahhh just another hunting story to add to the list.

Like the one time they flipped a big old army rig that they use for hunging while crossing the river. DH and FIL and uncles had to chace down another uncle from going down the river and then try and get the big old hunting rig back out of the river.

Yeah they have tons of hunting stories.

Oh on more. FIL And BIL were going up a hill on a 4 wheeler and flipped the 4 wheeler. FIL ended up breaking his ankle or foot (can't remember which.) and stayed out there for 3-4 days with just a branch made into a crutch.

I love moose meat. It kinda is just a little more gamer then beef and much better for you.

I absoultly LOVE LOVE LOVE Moose bacon. Its the best.

We use our moose meat for basically anything that we use beef with. I do find however you have to add a little more salt since you do not have all the fat that beef has. Specially in Spaghetti.

I'm used to it now. Its just hard when he adds something on to his 2 week shift. (like a 1 1/2 week hunging trip.)

But I'll tell you what. Him working on the slope has given me a really big respect for single mothers.

Good morning!

Favorite thing about Thursday? Pathetic, I know, but there is an employee here at work that drives me crazy and she doesn’t work Thursdays.

Add to that that it is usually my friend at work and I in this department on Thursdays and it is a good day!

My sofa is here and my cable is installed!

The sofa looks so big in the room but I like it. We'll have to rearrange the room when Mike gets home. Its nice. I was going to go with a matching loveseat but nwo i am not so sure. It may be too big. Maybe a matching chair and a different loveseat.

Hmmmm.

I have tons to do today. But I did get a load of laundry in the wash and the desk cleaned up and dishwasher emptied thus far. Only one million more things to do.

I probably wouldn't like it if it tastes gamey.  I don't eat deer meat for that same reason.  Now, sometimes, I'll eat deer bacon burgers, and it's okay.  I guess it all depends on how it's processed, IDK, because sometimes it's not as gamey tasting as others.
