I bit the inside of my lip (upper left) several days ago.

There's a big bump there, and I keep re-injuring it with my pointy tooth.

I also bite it again every single time I eat.

It HURTS.

Ihni how to get it to heal.

I try to favor that side of my mouth when I eat which makes a big mess and also made me bite the other side of my bottom lip.

Oh, and did I mention that my mom threw a hard rubber ball for her standard poodle while I was at her house earlier this afternoon?

It bounced off Sammy's nose and smacked me right in the face--knocking my glasses off and probably giving me a black eye.

I need a new face.

Robin, I used to get terrible canker sores and what I found helped them heal (and got me a bit of relief) was to take an uncoated asprin (not tylenol but actual asprin) and let it 'melt' on the spot.

Maybe different but it gave me a lot of relief. You could also try some ambosol. Funny, now that I think about this, I haven't had one in ages. You better not have jinxed me. ;)

my kids were a nightmare to get to sleep tonight

mike was at his office - a benefit for him and a disadvantage for me of the new place - it's walking distance to his office.

i'm drinking a beer.

tomorrow I'm starting a weight loss kick.

wish me luck.

robin- try rinsing with baking soda and warm water--it tastes gross, but heals quicker.

april-i HATE having unexpected company and would probably hide behind the curtains if i were you!

i don't think i have ever had a job i really enjoyed. my first job ever was at big surf waterpark, where i worked at the dippin dots stand in 100+ degree weather and was forced to wear a name tag that said angela. i think the best (as far as easiest/most fun) job i ever had was as a receptionist at a hair salon one day/week from when connor was born until he was three. the job was easy peasy and i had a ball with the girls i worked with--if it weren't for lack of a babysitter, i would probably still be there.

I'm home from the movies.

"Post Grad" was really cute.

I was very optimistic after all the previews before it looked like really good, cute, quirky movies.

I'm going to try the warm water/baking soda AND the aspirin. (And some Baby Orajel.)

Something should work.
