ever since i was a child i was slightly near sighted. things that bugged me the most were driving at night and going to the movies.
but my vision has corrected itself, and i am now 20/20! i give a bit of credit to my annual water fast - it has a lot of healing effects, and when fasting all of your senses are sharpened. when i started fasting about 10 years ago, i still wore glasses, but could not wear them during the fast as they became too strong and they would give me headaches.
he did so, so. he went down okay but woke up at 3 am. i gave him some tylenol and rocked him for a few then put him back in his crib and he slept the rest of the night like normal.
I don't have a prescription for glasses but have worn those lovely magnifying glasses. I never needed them until recently. I do need to go and get my eyes checked because I don't think my vision is as good since E scratched my cornea.
Today we go in and find out more detailed results from Elizabeth's testing. I am hoping that her delay in motor skills was the only concern. I am stressing out over that bad enough as it is. This is not one of the fun things about being a parent.
I have one bad eye that was never caught as a child. I'm supposed to wear a contact in that eye or glasses, but I can see well enough without so I don't bother. I really need to go and get my eyes checked though. It's been years.
Must clean this disaster I call a house today. Ugh!
I last had my eyes checked in......................................................2006? No, wait......2007!
Yes, that sounds about right. It was 2007 b/c that's when I got the glasses that Colin broke and I got these new frames last year and they can't be broken! Haha! Switch to plastic frames.
OMG- I'm going to just up and combust. No wonder my freaking BP is so high and my chest feels like there's a freaking anvil on it all the damn time. This child will not let the stress level up. DH worked a double so he had work last night. I had baby duty so no CPAP. Colin's running around like he had 3 dozen pixie stix and no matter how many times I tell him to knock it off he won't listen- so my tired, cranky butt finally snapped.
And to make it all so beautiful- I didn't listen to DH yesterday when he recommended we leave the yellow jackets nest alone. It was built in an area rug that we had tossed under the front porch (don't ask). Well, they are where Colin plays so I couldn't have that. So, I had DH pull the rug out. I had the hose and was to cover him until he had the nest taken care of. But that went to Hades when he realized that the nest was bigger than we anticipated. And as he's running from the swarm, I froze. So they swarmed me. We didn't get stung too bad. He got stung on the elbow, knee, and neck. I got it on the ankle, stomach, elbow, and butt. And then I had yellow jackets hiding in my hair.
Last time I ever decide that I know better. They still sting this morning. I could barely sleep last night b/c any time I rolled to my back, my butt was stinging. My ankle burns like fire. AHHH!!!

I've had glasses for 1/2 years now. I have to go in every year to get them re-checked since they think my eyes are still progressivly getting worse. I know its from working on the computer all day. Before I started at this job I worked in our Ophthalmology clinic and they tested my eyes at 20/20 +2 which is Better then good. Now they are getting worse and worse.
