This reminds me that I wanted to ask you, and everyone else too, do you put your kids on pro-biotics or give them acidophilus when they are on abx? I never have before, but think I will in the future when they inevitably have to be on abx (though Kate hasn't yet-just a prescription cream for a rash. Anna has been on them like 3 times!!!)

He is on ammox. No, this is his second. He had the first when he was around 6-7 months I believe.
No, I have never put them on anything else.
Bryce was on them a ton until he got tubes.
But really other than that they all three have only been on something a handful of times.

I remember you talking about Bryce's issues until he had tubes.
I probably wouldn't think about the probiotics, except Anna has always had trouble with constipation, and that coupled with my own disease (which was triggered by overuse of abx), and I think it couldn't hurt to give her something like that if/when she ends up on them again. At least give her lots of yogurt or something. I want to keep her gut in balance if I can.
And one of the times she was on them was for a full month because that was when she had the bullseye rash and they suspected lyme. (it came back negative, but they said the tests aren't very reliable-they started her on the abx before we even had the test done)
I am glad Kate hasn't had to be on any yet, but that means i still worry for when she eventually does. She is a lot more like me, and I have a lot of drug allergies!
Anyway, I am glad you know Keegan's behavior is because of the ear infection. That sucks though!!! I hope he gets back to feeling good very fast.
the USC game will be huge for us - that's the week before illini.
we are supposed to win the conf - but the big 10 has gotten so much shit these past years, i dont think that mean much *sigh*
i dont think the buckeyes will do great nationally... we have terrell pryor who is wonderkid, but our defense is weakened. and we will totally miss some seniors like beanie wells... for me its a tossup.

keegan can not have yogurt due to his allergies.
my other boys love it and will keep that in mind for when they would get on antibiotics again to push that a little more.
my new co-teacher and i are getting along great so far! tomorrow is my last day before the kids come back. we have our first 3-4 days of lessons planned out plus seating charts done, handouts copied and the classroom set up. i feel really good about things!
i'll be happy to put final touches on things tomorrow and be ready to go for tuesday!
apparently he was running (:brow:) and caught his eye on the corner of a cabinet in his classroom. they called to let me know what happened and i thought they were calling b/c i needed to take him for stitches. when she told me it was just going to be black and blue, i told her that i was thrilled. lmao. stitches would not have made my day!
