Morning!

I overslept (sort of) this morning.

I've been setting my alarm for 6am and going walking before the rest of my family is awake.

I was tossing and turning a bit and thought, "It sure is bright for before 6."

So I peeked at my clock, and it was 6:39.

The music (my alarm) on my radio was turned on but the volume had gotten turned down all the way.

At least I still got a much-needed shower.

I'm going to say that my favorite thing about September is the fair but it doesn't start until next weekend.

I like lots of things about September.

Sleeping till 6:39 is NOT sleeping in for me smile I'm glad that you got to sleep in though smile

good morning!

i guess my favorite thing about september would be the change over to fall and watching the trees.

i am thinking i am going to run keegan to the doctor to have his ears checked. he just got over his snotty nose that he had for over a week. monday morning he was up by 5:30 which is unheard of for him. and he has been fighting nap and bedtimes really bad. and been quite the grump in the evenings.

yesterday he only napped from 10-11 am the entire day! then went to bed at normal time by the time he did all his fussing woke around 9:45 screaming and would not suck his paci or calm down for about 10 minutes. after that he did sleep through but still thinking might have him looked at.

GM Sara.  I hope Keegan is ok, poor guy.

yay for september

my favorite thing about september is that dewberry farms opens up

it's about an hour from our house and is sooooo fun

i like to spend at least 1 saturday there every weekend while they're open

seriously, i'd LIVE there if i could.

http://www.dewberryfarm.com/index.php

That looks like a wonderful place, we have a similar place 40 mins from where we live and I love going there too.

I hope Jack and Keegan are ok.  Christopher just got over an ear infection but in his case there was no screaming, he just complained last week that his ears hurt and when I got the checked out, he had infection in both ears, we got them checked again today and they are almost cleared up.  I guess it's nice when they get older, they don't scream as much! smile

September is not my favorite month but I do like the weather in September, it's usually not too cold and not too hot, just perfect.

Robin I'm with you with enjoying this time of year because of the Fair. We are going Friday and hopfully it won't be to crowded since kids will still be in school. My mom took the day off so her and my dad can go, plus BFF also took the day off and her parents are going to. The kids will love it.

We plan to go after an early nap so we can stay late for the fireworks. At least it will be dark enough for them to really show. Thats the problem with the 4th of July fireworks, Its just not dark enough for them to be spectacular.

It's a really pretty shade of dark green. giggle.gif

Also, the weather starts cooling off a little. Eventually.

I had forgotten about the county fair though; I love that too!

hilton head was fantastic!  though next year we might go to NC - near the crystal coast as that is where i spent my childhood summers and i am nostalgic to rent a boat and visit cape lookout again.

the only sucky thing is i was stung by a jellyfish two weeks ago and i still have a huge festering sores from it... it is quite gross!

I haven't caught up yet, but my fave this is EVERYTHING!!!!  I LOVE this time of year.  Aside from school starting again, this month is probably my fave of the year.  Bill's birthday is this month, plus our anniversary, which is always fun.  And the county fair is this month, the RenFest is going on now, the weather is gorgeous, it is just the greatest month of the year!!!  I looks forward to September every year!!!

Hi, Laura!

Mark was a big grump this morning; he didn't like any of my ideas for him to take to show and tell.

Finally, in the parking lot, I told him he'd just have to find something in the van.

He crawled under the seat and surfaced with a squishy baseball-looking ball.

While he was at preschool, I helped cut out some stuff in the library at Henry's school.

The new librarian was a 4th grade teacher for the past 7 or so years so I got some ideas from her on how to help Henry.

On the way home from preschool, Mark was a big grump AGAIN.

He keeps asking to go to Chuck E. Cheese or the mall or somewhere, and I keep telling him we don't have money for that.

He wanted to know if Daddy had money for it and if I could just use Daddy's money.

I wouldn't have taken him anywhere today anyway because when I asked him if he had to pull a clip today, he threw his preschool folder at me and yelled, "STOP SAYING THAT!"

I'm excited.

The day before yesterday, I made our hotel reservations for Fall Break.

Mark just asked me to snuggle with him in his room.

How can I resist?

BBL.

my dad just brought over some diapers for ben so i wouldn't have to go out. he also drove mikey to school. yay!

i cancelled my pap appt for this afternoon. i didn't think it was a good idea to go to an office full of preggos with a potentially contagious cold/flu/virus. i did reschedule for next week though.

now i'm getting bg ready for his afternoon nap and then i plan to lay on the couch and not move until i have to.

Hi Robin!!!  I was starving after working out and getting the kids down, so I had to eat lunch, then I had to get the laundry out...

Anyway, I am finally caught up.

Wow-Mark is seriously a grump!!!!  Also, I am sorry about the sleeping in-though I also don't consider 6:39 sleeping in, lol.
