good morning!

i guess my favorite thing about september would be the change over to fall and watching the trees.

i am thinking i am going to run keegan to the doctor to have his ears checked. he just got over his snotty nose that he had for over a week. monday morning he was up by 5:30 which is unheard of for him. and he has been fighting nap and bedtimes really bad. and been quite the grump in the evenings.

yesterday he only napped from 10-11 am the entire day! then went to bed at normal time by the time he did all his fussing woke around 9:45 screaming and would not suck his paci or calm down for about 10 minutes. after that he did sleep through but still thinking might have him looked at.

poor little man cry

i hope he's doing ok.

honestly, he is doing fine minus the grumpy evenings and the fighting of naps.

just last night with that screaming episode i think it is one of those better safe than sorry having him seen.

i just hate that it takes me 45 min to get there..blah!!

sorry you are still feeling crummy as well.  boo to sickies!

jack is fighting naps and having night troubles right now too

i've been considering taking him in but hate to waste the $20 co-pay if it's nothing

i sure wish someone would just look in his ears and say yay/nay infection without having to trek to the dr. and all of that

LMK if you take Keegan and what they say.

Good Morning!

My favorite thing about September are some of the fall activities that go on, like going to the apple orchard, bonfires, hay rides, and festivals.

Sappy I hope you are feeling better soon. There is some sort of creeping crud going on here that takes forever to work out of the system.

Sara I hope Kegan is feeling better soon and his ears are fine.

Irina, hurt toes can be so painful.  Hopefully it will be less painful in the morning.

Sonya that is really exciting about getting the keys!  I can't wait to see pictures.

yeah, this is why i have held off for a while.

i figure it is probably an age thing or even teething since his bottom teeth still have no broke through the gums.

but after last nights spell i am going to take him.

will lyk what the verdict is.

BUT - i just read in a US mag that the 2 hour season premier is on Sept 24, and i will be in ohio that day.

must.not.watch.it!!!!

ugh, that will take ALL my willpower....

i think my favorite part of september is the weather. it's usually still warm here but not insanely hot (though this summer has been so cool it feels like we haven't really had summer). i also love the whole "back to school" feeling.

oh, and the colors. but that usually doesn't happen until later.

I think this year we will have an early color change here in MI. It has been a cooler and wet summer. There are already trees here with a hint of red. It is crazy!

I also love Fall! It is one of my favorite times of year. I love seeing all the school kids for the first time. They grow so much over the summer. I love the crisp air. I really wish I could have 70ish degree weather all year. I honestly love it. Then I know cider mill season is here! Then comes pumpkin season and then turkey season and we are in December. It is just something to look forward to each moth and be with family.

i am a cleaning demon this week, though atm the house is a torn apart mess whilst i am in progress.

i decided that while adelaide is still on vacation in portugal this week, cecile is away at scout camp all week till sunday (why is it that is the child that sucks up lost of my time these days?  with her crafts and stuff and constantly wanting me to do stuff (aka shopping for her) all.the.time.)

... well i am going to deep clean the house. well, not clean, but organise...

i have gutted timmys room - the pile of clothes is HUGE (an most if it in new condition as he grows so damn fast... sigh) and old toys.

in process of gutting ceciles room -that girl is a packrat and has a bazillion little doo dads from American Girl, LPS - not to mention all her reading/craft stuff.  :anothersigh

next up clara's room - i am gonna take a pic of her armoire so you al can laugh at how messy it is - pathetic!

also, in no particular order:  the hall closets( jackets/gloves/sport equipment etc), the bathroom cupboards, my clothes (make room for future mat clothes), the spare room (where i piled all my quilting/craft junk, my books&dvds...), the food room in the basement (brough so much crap back from my 2 trips to the US this summer plus visiting the base in Germany with my bro - literally 20-30 bags of food strewn all over the floor....)

my work is cut out for me.

the reward?

when the kids go back to school the 15th i am going to spend 3 full days vegging out in front of the tv doing ef-all nothing.  HEAVEN!
