my computer doesnt have a mouse, it has a touchpad which made learning the computer pretty frustrating for R. i was also in no rush to get her on the computer (bc it's mine. hah). well tonight she was on starfall and i realized she's mastered the touchpad even though we havent been practicing at ALL. i think she might have fun with some computer games, and i think she'd do them independently as opposed to me having to move the mouse around.
do you guys have any websites that your kids enjoy? i dont want to do anything TV related bc i'm trying to abolish tv in this house. R gets too absorbed/obsessed and i'm just done with it. we dont have a leapster or anything like that. i've kept the kids pretty technology-free so far. tia.
Crayola has some games on their website, I believe.
jcplayzone.com is Christian themed games, my kids have played a little on that.
http://www.netrover.com/~kingskid/dinsing.html this has a lot of musical games. I was looking for something to supplement my daughters piano lessons and we found this one. If you google 'kids musical games' quite a few sites come up, but this is the only one I've had time to explore.
