They have super strict rules, and will be banned from posting if you are not a grammar rockstar.

They forbid: mispelled words, improper capitalization, run-on sentances, and use of slang or "chat speak."

I just want to type, you people spend your entire day playing with guinea pigs, and you are judging others???

Crazy!

omg. that is insane!

Finicky men.

I would have made him sit on hold and cancel.

Let him know what it feels like to sit on hold with a trucking company, as elevator music slowly pushes you closer to the brink of insanity.

Maybe he would think twice about making crazy demands in future

yeah, that is going to happen.

he's going crazy another way. He has a deadline for a paper he has to edit that is going to be published and it has to be by the 1st. And there's the little matter of not having a single thing prepared for the start of classes (the 10th).

i have no idea why we were so stupid to do all of this right now.

Wow, that is stressful. Isn't tomorrow the 1st??

You would have given the moderators of Guinea Pig Cages a total heart attack.

I bet they would be crying in their hayballs at the horrible grammar of that whole statement.

Good morning girlies!

My favorite time of day varies.  When I'm up early on a beautiful morning and not wishing I were back in bed,  that would definitely rate #1.  It's just hard to come by (I'm always wishing I were back in bed LOL).

If not, probably about an hour after Meghan goes down because I've let the craziness of the day go, know that Meghan is settled and sleeping and still have another hour or two to myself.

That's craziness!  I'd be losing my mind if I were him.  Or is he the type that works best under pressure?

I can't believe you are moving this week!  I'm so excited for you biggrin.  Good luck!!   It was just the smartest decision in the world to live somewhere else while your house is on the market.  It will save you A LOT of sanity!

Sara are you feeling any better?  Do the little ones have school again today?

I am about to get my cup of coffee but right now am feeling a little disbelief.  I have clothes in the dryer and from here I can see steam from the dryer vent.  That really is not a summer type of thing. no

 I know!

Last night I wore a pair of jammies that I haven't touched since April, and I'm wrapped in a thick sweater MIL knitted me.

These are my winter duds!

And I could totally see my breath this morning when I let the dog out; it was crazy.

I absolutely love the fall and hope we don't skip right to winter this year!

It's not that cold here yet, but it's definitely been a cool summer.

I'm working today.

It is in the little baby class (6 months - 1 year, non-walkers) which isn't my favorite because of all the crying and super-short naptime, but there are only 4 babies in there.

With 2 teachers, 4 babies shouldn't be that hard.

Also, it is a BEAUTIFUL, cool, sunshiny, breezy day so we can take them for a really long walk in the strollers.

And I don't have to worry about Mark since my mom is getting him at noon.

Have fun!  Hopefully the little ones will cooperate for you.  I miss that age (of course, moms block out all of the bad stuff LOL).

Looks like I scared everyone away. sniff.gif

Mike and I sat down and went over our finances last night.  SCARY to say the least.  We are barely breaking even every month, and some months we aren't.  Which means *nothing* is going into savings.  Eeek.

There isn't much we can cut down on every month but I think I can hack away at the grocery bill (I think we spent like $650 last month on groceries and then other $250 on eating out (including lunches, dinners, coffee, snacks, etc).  Tooooo much.

It was wonderful to be able talk to eachother without either one of us being defensive though.  I wasn't looking forward to it and while I came out of it with a whole new perspective (fear) about our finances, I was also happy to see us work so well as a team.

I have no idea what we are going to do if this "no savings" trend continues though.  I really should start spending a couple dollars a week on lottery tickets!

i know this week im going to go crazy. my sister is coming back again.

She called me last week cuz this guy shes dating is a jerk. This isnt the first time. So i told her to come see me. that was to get out of camping with him. instead she went and then is coming here. she wanted to not talk to him anymore, but couldnt do it.

She told me i could take her phone when she gets here and delete texts but now it seems she had a good time with him so I doubt shell let me. I dont want her calling me crying about him ever again, because I tried and she just is being an idiot about it.

And she had me call about a million places to board her cat and now shes bringing him. I dont dislike her cat but the mess it made in my house last time she was here was unbelievable.

1st - yay that you have a ticker now!!!! biggrin.gif

2nd - john has $20 that comes out of his check each week that goes into savings.  but i have had to dip into savings so it is really irrelavent.  we have had to adjust big time since he took his day job as it was a MAJOR pay cut! it is so worth it to have him around more with the kiddos.  but we were way less stressed when he was on shift.
worry.gif

it will all work itself out.

I thought it was time to get a ticker  rofl.gif .

That's a great idea about stashing $20 a paycheck away.  Any saving is good saving.  For now, I think we could manage that.

It so hard having to adjust so quickly when you are used to not having to worry as much.  I really thought we figured out our expenses when we bought the house and thought out monthly mortgage was do-able, but ugh, I was wrong.  Something just ALWAYS comes up and I didn't leave enough of a safety net.  Thank goodness we didn't drain our bank account completely when we bought so now we can figure out what kind of changes we need to make immediately.

And you are right... it will all work out.  We may need to make some drastic changes but hopefully it will only be for a few years.  When this tiny pea starts kindergarten, I should be able to go back to work full time (where, I don't know.  But I'll find something!)

Just felt the baby.  That's a few times already today.   Can't help but smile. biggrin

oh and sonya, i think maybe you talked about this or will know what to do.

i want to have my settings on facebook where i can set some people up to not see my status updates even though they are my friends. is that possible?

john's two cousins keep showing everything to his mom and she keeps making snide nasty remarks about how she has to find things out about her grandchildren through facebook. his cousins are about as much idiot sticks as his mother so i was just going to make it where they can't see that much.

i have a mil story. i will have to tell it once we are back. she is such a d@mn idiot!

Good morning!

I am a night owl, so favorite time of day is from 10pm until I go to bed. Yawn since I get up before six most days.
