Good morning!

Morning!

My favorite time is the morning before my kids wake up so I can read and relax in peace.

That's my second favorite time of day; drinking coffee and posting on MS smile

Don't know if y'all saw my Facebook statuses but I had a heck of a time getting the lunch menu for Henry's school today.

The August calendar he brought home only went through last Friday.

Online, they have the same August calendar (without the 31st on it).

And there was nowhere to click on September's calendar--not that it would have had today's lunch menu anyway.

Finally, I called my mom who looked in today's paper and couldn't find it.

Then she called me back.

She found the week's menu in yesterday's paper.

Yay!

Danielle starts school tomorrow-yay!

Tonight we are going to pick out an outfit (something cool that doesn't look like we picked it out the night before), and wash and blowdry her hair.

Due to the biochem screw up, I know have Tues and Fri completely off. Double yay!

(Of course, that means one extra class next semester, but it's all good).

so exciting for dani!!

extra days off are nice - but it does suck about biochem.

I'm working today.

It is in the little baby class (6 months - 1 year, non-walkers) which isn't my favorite because of all the crying and super-short naptime, but there are only 4 babies in there.

With 2 teachers, 4 babies shouldn't be that hard.

Also, it is a BEAUTIFUL, cool, sunshiny, breezy day so we can take them for a really long walk in the strollers.

And I don't have to worry about Mark since my mom is getting him at noon.

i loooooove 6 mos - 1 year old babies. that's like my FAVORITE baby age heart.gif

We harvested these massive heads of cabbage from the yard, so I have to do something with them.

I'm thinking of doing a pork roast, and then chopping the cabbage and frying it on the side (that's the only way I can really eat it, so it's not too slimey).

We made applesauce yesterday with some of the apples from our trees-it was SO good!

That's a lot of drama for a lunch menu!

When we have that problem, she just takes her lunch.

Does Henry get school lunch every day?

I can only take them in short time spans. I love when my babies are that age, but I get flustered easily with other people's children.

lmao

mike refuses to use uhaul. we've had very bad experiences every time we used Uhaul (one time the truck couldn't be shut off or it would take an hour to get it started again, the next the engine blew up about 3 hours from home, etc etc etc). He told me he doesn't care how much it costs he won't use them again.

I booked with discount instead.

I would make that, except for the small issue that coleslaw is DISGUSTING.

Finicky men.

I would have made him sit on hold and cancel.

Let him know what it feels like to sit on hold with a trucking company, as elevator music slowly pushes you closer to the brink of insanity.

Maybe he would think twice about making crazy demands in future

So we have been frequenting this forum that is especially for guinea pig owners, and it is INSANE.

They have super strict rules, and will be banned from posting if you are not a grammar rockstar.

They forbid: mispelled words, improper capitalization, run-on sentances, and use of slang or "chat speak."

I just want to type, you people spend your entire day playing with guinea pigs, and you are judging others???

Crazy!

yeah, that is going to happen.

he's going crazy another way. He has a deadline for a paper he has to edit that is going to be published and it has to be by the 1st. And there's the little matter of not having a single thing prepared for the start of classes (the 10th).

i have no idea why we were so stupid to do all of this right now.
