Alright you youngins. I need help compiling some music for a party I'm having in a couple of weeks.

I need music that's fun and that you can dance too.

What's hip? It can be older too. Like when you go dancing, what do they play?

I have some Lady Gaga, Rihanna, JT, Beyonce type stuff so far.

Help! Thanks girls.

Here the radio will not stop playing 3Oh!3. (Yeah, that's not a typo.)... (Don't Touch Me and their new one Starstrukk. Or the song "Break up" by Mario. I'm pretty sure between that, Gaga, and BEP, that's all that's ever on. I get turned on to most of the dance type songs that I like by watching the dance shows (like America's Next Dance Crew) for my underground song fix, because I do no club, lmao.

But, I'm neither young nor hip, lmao.

Oh, and purely for lolz, I have to mention that they also play a looooot of Drake "Best I Ever Had" - but Drake would be Jimmy in the wheelchair from Degrassi, turned gangsta rapper.

Is this for kids or adults?

I know at weddings and things like that people seem to like and dance to:
Brick House
Brown Eyed Girl
Twist
A/C D/C shook me all night long
Girls Just want to have fun

I don't know the name of the song but it's when the guy says things like jump, jump, jump, now cha cha, and stuff. Ugh!  What is this called?

How soon do you need these?  I can ask my son since he goes to bars and dances all the time.  He will know.

And yes, I am old so my song knowledge it too. lmao.gif

I know what you're talking about. The cha cha slide.

Thanks for your input.

You are extremely young and hip compared to me.

Thanks, this is what I need, stuff that the teeny boppers are listening to.
