so i just paid $3.99 for a 6 pack of sugar free jello in the fridge section.
:loser:
i bought it last week b/c jake needed it the morning of his surgery and i found out my kids LOVE it. for 10 calories, it's totally worth it as a bribe.
but i am NOT going to keep paying $4 per pack. :duh:
so, i'm wondering - for school lunches, couldn't i just make a batch of jello and then refrigerate it in those little gladware containers with lids? is there any reason this wouldn't work?
if i do this, dyt i need to put ice packs in the lunch bags? (i didn't do this last year)
They are... they are super thick (like the batter bowl, if you have those), so I never really thought about it, and sent it all the time with Hannah.
ok. i hardly have any PC items, so i'm not that familiar with them. i'm pretty sure i read something that said no glass in lunches, but i'll double check.
ot - i've been searching for some really good mixing bowls - especially big ones. is that what you're referring to?

I'm a PC whore.
This is the one I was referencing - They have a 2 qt and and a 1 qt. although I'm sure since you are looking for big bowls that those aren't quite large enough. I've had both for at least 6 years... Probably longer. We use them for everything.
i have never used the husking option, april, but the kernal removing blade makes stripping the kernals of the kids cobs way easier than using a knife. not that they don't eat corn on the cob, but sometimes they want it off and this works great.
