I just checked my e-mail and got this from DH:

"I love you. I know that we haven't had the easiest go of things, and I haven't always been everything that you've needed at times. But I want to thank you. Thank you, Jennie. Thank you for actually believing in me, especially when I haven't in myself. For reassuring me in times of doubt. For helping me when I needed it. You are truly my life partner. You have shown me what its all about. I'm starting to move up and on with life. I'm no longer afraid of everything, and finally gaining a bit of confidence. And I see now that the old saying about behind every great man is a great woman applies. I love you. I need you. But most important, I respect and value you, as my wife, my partner and every other part of my life that you are. Things are changing. You can see that. Things are improving. I'm not going to sit back, be passive and turn into my father. I refuse. Instead of saying how much my job stinks, and how bad my day went, I'm just going to pour my time here into changing things into what I want them to be. No more overstressed bs. That ended today. I refuse to let this place beat me. And because of my efforts here, our lives at home can only improve. Its going to be one hell of a ride, my pie! Let's go and win this thing, together. I love you!

Good morning!

I had a great three day weekend, back to work now!

Favorite dessert? Pie of any kind. I hate cake. Can't stand it, don't want it. But put a pie in front of me and I am a goner. Especially warm apple pie with ice cream on top and a cup of coffee on the side.

April, I am so glad Jake is doing so well, so sorry Emily scared you like that. Hannah used to do that until she got it in her head that there is an alligator under her bed. (We can't convince her this is not the case).

Hmm....in hot weather, it's not as hard to pick between my two faves. DQ caramel sundae!

My other favorite dessert is caramel swirl cheesecake. Yum!

the update on jake is that he is in a little more pain this afternoon than this morning. also, his bandage already came off. :( i called and they told me to put him in the tub with the partially removed bandage and soak it off the rest of the way.

um, he did NOT like that. :(

Holly just marched up to me and announced she was hungry. I asked why since she just had a snack (stupid question, lol, but she caught me off guard!) and she said "Because I made a poop! Now I have more room."

Count me in on the caramel sundaes too! I get so pissed when some weirdo teen gives me butterscotch like I'm not supposed to notice.

None of the McDs near me have them BUT Meghan doesn't know that apple dippers come with caramel. So mean mommy saves it to make a sunday when ever she gets them.

(that's Meghan beating me up when she gets older and finds out LOL)

i bought vaseline last night that i've been putting on the insides of his pull-ups so nothing sticks.

he's on tylenol with codeine and i'm being religious about giving it to him when he is scheduled for it, even if it means waking him up. i don't want him to have any pain if i can help it. so that means meds constantly until thursday at least.
