Did anyone enjoy this one?

I had a hard time and did not make it through it.

I may try again to see if I am missing something.

yes...it was difficult, wasn't it?  I was really surprised that this was written in that era...I thought it was a current book.

i can't say i enjoyed it. it's a rough one to watch.

having said that - the story was fascinating to me & i thought the actors were incredible.

 see that is why I wanted to see it. I heard so much about the acting. I just had a hard time getting through it.

I guess I was hoping for something more.

DH hated it, I fell asleep about 1/4 or a bit more into it....I saw the end.. Already read the book months ago
