This week for me, not a whole lot going on. Dom left this morning for Omaha, he'll be back until Friday. :(
I decided to take the day off today to get back in the swing of things - we left town for the weekend, so I need to get some laundry done, groceries bought, etc. Then back to work tomorrow. I swear, I am hanging on by a thread. I know I've probably been saying that forever, but I'm trying to stick with it. At least until we're able to buy a new house, then we'll figure things out. Especially if I get preggers again, there's a chance I could stay home full-time for awhile.
Our 5th anniversary is this Friday. I'm not sure what to get for Dom. I lined up a sitter for Saturday evening, so we'll go out to dinner. I'm thinking about The Melting Pot, but that is some $$.

jolynn, i'm not sure what you're thinking about $ wise, but we usually get out of there for $100 or so and that is including a bottle of wine. you can usually do $75 without drinks.
also, jolynn, your location is offering the late night option if you wanted to see a movie or something first:
Join us now thru August and dip into Late Night Fondue with us. Enjoy a creamy cheese fondue, one of our signature salads, decadent chocolate fondue and a bottle of wine or any of our two signature drinks for $49.00 per couple*. Enjoy this offer Sunday thru Thursday 8:00 p.m. until 10 p.m. or Friday and Saturday 8:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Contact a hospitality specialist for details and reservations.
This week...Holly starts pre-K unless we hit a snag; the dates are pretty flexible w/this place but we want her to start ASAP. She went school shopping with my MIL yesterday (they were in town for a few days) and is SO excited.
Is she excited to go to school? Is this her first year ( I am thinking it is). I bet she just loves it.
Yep, first time! She's very excited, but nervous too. I'm sure after about the first week or so, she'll be begging to go on weekends too.

thank you so much, April! I wonder if I can talk my cousin in to keeping the boys for the night! :)
I'm so frustrated. We drove all the way in town yesterday afternoon after the storm to Home Depot. We have a long list and so I decided I'd go with them to do my tile and we can have everything else delivered (2 toilets, two screen doors, the tiling supplies, etc.)
They had a special on that if you did your flooring with them, you got 10% back in home depot cards.
I think it ends today but there is no more mention on the website.
Any way, we just walked in when Charlie started to shake from his fever (yes, I know we shouldn't have taken him out - I thought he was over it) so we turned around and drove home.
So, I didn't get to talk to anyone and now I have to go in tonight by myself. Blah. I hate being a grownup.
