Sara, I didnt get a chance to go by my Target again, but I will this eve. I will let you know!
Thanks, Erin.
Does Kiera use hers now? What book comes with it?
Melissa, it comes with one book, Ozzie and Mack. It is a softcover book. You have to purchase all of the other ones. We have a lot that I have gotten over time with coupons and when they are on sale. My girls adore their Tags.
We also have the carry cases, so what I do is I have labelled each case with their name, and the Tag that goes into that case with their name also. Then I put the books that are currently loaded onto that Tag reader into that case and put any others up and out of reach (it is too frustrating, especially for Kate, when they try to use the Tag on books that aren't currently uploaded). They know that whatever books are in that case will work with that "pen" as they call it.
We also have the Storyreader system, but they love that this system is interactive. They can press on most any picture and hear a sound or something. And Kate likes to press on the individual words to hear them said aloud. (Anna doesn't do that-but Kate is more into books than Anna is anyway) My kids are definite readers, so kids who aren't might not use it as much, but they love the Tag!!!

Thanks, Laura. I really have no idea how this works. Good thinking on the case. I want to start picking stuff up as I see it on sale. Do they sell these cases in the store?
Allie loves books, so I am hoping this will be of interest to her. I am not going to give it to her till Christmas though.
What book have your girls enjoyed the most? I have not looked to see how many books are out there. What is a good price on the books? Do you get them at Target?

Melissa- print out the coupons in the pdf link from the first post in this thread - print out like 5 copies, and cut out the tag reader book coupons ($4 off!) so you have them with you when you see them on sale. You can get them at Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart.
The books are around $13.99 per book at full price, there are about 30 of them. (Thomas, Winnie the pooh, walter the farting dog, fancy nancy, a wide variety. ) But, as they bring out new books, some of them go on sale . Slickdeals reports that they go on sale for as low as $4.00, which with the coupon makes them free! I plan on keeping my eyes open for a sale to at least $ 9.99, so that I get them for about $5.00. the coupons expire Sept. 30. The one I sent you came with Ozzie and Mack also.
Kiera really likes hers too. It took her about an hour to get the hang of it. She also likes that she can put the reader on other things and hear noises, etc.
