Morning!

I'm looking forward to Mark starting the Stay-and-Play Mondays at preschool.

I'm also looking forward to our church activities starting back; they're suspended during summer vacation.

gm di!  how are you feeling? how are your teeth (did i miss an update??)?

my first official day back is sept 1st.  students come back on the 8th.  so soon!!!

libby, i hope that today goes super smoothly. i'm sure she's going to do great.

I'm going great!  The nausea is on its way out!  YAY!

My extraction went great.  The procedure sucked but it was so much better than I expected.  I had a great doctor.  The pain was bad for the first day and a half but after that, I had pretty much no pain at all.   Again, I expected MUCH worse.  She didn't even need to stitch anything and she was able to clear out the infection so I didn't even need to take antibiotics.  My baby says thank you :)  LOL.  I'm going back today for a followup.

That's the difference btw. a teacher and a SAHM... Meghan goes back Sept 9th and it feels like it is sooooooooooo far away!!  :bag

I'm pissed, though, because they changed the start time for Meghan's class from 8:30 to 8:45.  This means I have to drive her everyday instead of Mike.  He is supposed to be at work at 8:30 and if he dropped her off, he'd get in at 9.  Not acceptable.  I am REALLY upset about this b/c it's going to be A LOT to handle.  I will basically have no time to do work again.  Ugh.  Being a woman REALLY sucks sometimes.  Why do we always have to find a way to make something work and just deal with the suckiness that results from it?

Today is the last day of swimming lessons.

CLAP CHEER YAY PARTY WOOHOO WOW YAY

The teacher just sucks and doesn't actually teach.

But yesterday this worked in our favor.

She really just clocked out and just stood there chatting with the other "teachers" the whole time.

So we played.  And Meghan took more risks and got further doing that than she had in any of the other lessons.

She's just going to learn by playing in the water.  I know it.  After she is more comfortable and will go under water by herself, THEN we'll take lessons.

Next year, I think we either need to get a pool or join the town pool.  It's silly for her to take lessons and then not swim for months at a time!

Hopefully when we're at Disney next month, she'll really grow her fins. biggrin

I wanted to do swim lessons so badly this year, but I just never got them signed up.  That's on the top of my list next summer though!

April-

I'm pissed by 9am.

Done by 11am.

Dying of guilt by 1pm.

Over it and pissed off again by 3pm.

Watching the clock and waiting for Mike to get home by 5:15pm.

DONE DONE DONE DONE by 7:30pm.

Wake up and repeat.

I think I'd definitely be a better mom if I got to get out of the house to work.  You are not alone.

I hope so but we don't live in the same town as the preschool (which most of the kids do) so it's doubtful.  You never know though.

I keep playing phone tag with the administrator but I'm hoping to get her on the phone today and give her a piece of my mind.  Who changes the class times??? And my problem is she sent out an email saying there was a request to change the time and what is everyone's thoughts.  I'm sure a lot of people were like "yeah, whatever.  Doesn't really matter to me"  But what about the people it does matter to!?  Grr.  Sorry.  Really pissed.

Just got a request for a meeting.  More TV time for Meghan.  Her brain has got to be fried by now.

I just don't undertstand why y'all get so upset with these little angels

I mean, they mind, pick up after themselves, never fight, and just are generally a pleasure to be around.

What's the problem?
