What do I put in this big scary lunchbag other than PB&J?

Suggestions? Failures? I'm a little freaked...

tx. there was another thread about this a few days ago - i'll see if i can search for it.

one thing that was really great over there is using a thermos for soup, mac n cheese, etc.

i like to do roll-ups...either just turkey with cheese inside or if she'll eat a tortilla or wrap, you can use that.

yogurt is a big one b/c em will always eat it.

i'll see if i can bump that thread. :)

ROFLMAO

There are like six threads on this board yet I didn't see it. :bag

I spent my day today c/p the recipes on the old board for the recipe section that's about to go up. I got super hungry right about the time I hit the Christmas cookie threads...

tx, will she eat sandwiches?

em is hit or miss on them, but when i use a cookie cutter and cut out a sandwich, she is much more likely to eat it.

also, from my experience last year, things that she doesn't eat well at home, she will eat just fine at school b/c of the other kids being there and eating the same and/or similar things.

just some food for thought.

(sorry, i couldn't resist wink.gif)

I'm too lazy to search for the other thread but I did the soup and mac in cheese in the thermos last year.  I also cooked chicken fingers and fries and put them in the thermos and they stayed plenty warm for her to eat at lunch time.  I am actually thinking of trying pizza in the thermos this year.

It's actually not a regular sized thermos that I have but it is short and wide to be used for food.

What sucks is trying to get everyone ready and out the door at that ungodly hour and then having to cook her lunch to have it ready to pack.  I am soooo not a morning person.
