Good morning! Don’t you just hate it when the cup of coffee you made as you ran out the door in the morning tastes awful! I feel a need to run to Peets (a coffee place right around the corner from my work.

Yes, I like camping. I haven’t been in years, but there is nothing better than to wake up with bird chirping and wildlife chatter around you. I must admit I have never been camping in the US, just in Europe. Hmmmm, I am going to have to look into fixing this.

This is debatable. I like to wake up in silence at my own leisure preferably around noon.sleep.gif

He had a great day.

Glad he had a great day.  I am afraid when E starts preschool next week I am going to have trouble getting myself focused.  I have made myself believe that I will be productive. lmao.gif

Hi. Camping...I've been a few times, and it was okay. I imagine with 3 guys in the house, I'll have more opportunities to go in the future. Or I can let them go and do my own thing for the weekend. :)

So far, I'm only going to be able to let the realtor into the kitchen.

I had better get to cleaning.

I've become hopelessly addicted to Bejeweled Blitz. I think Dom is getting tired of hearing the sound effects. I kind of like them.

But it pisses me off that I can't seem to hit 75k.

Congrats on getting the apt!  Sounds like it's in a really great location for your family, that's awesome.

Thanks, Jolynn. I'm really hoping it will be a great move for us.

Now I just have 20 million things to do.

How is your house doing? Any showings?

i think it is a total fluke when you can hit a really high score like that. it all depends on the board you get.

I wish it was for 2 mins not 1. than you could have a strategy

No new showings in the past couple of weeks.  I'm getting so impatient!

Avg days on market around here is about 90 days, though.  Right now we're on day 54.  Our realtor said most of the buyers right now are first-timers looking to spend less.

I know, funny that it happened after I bitched about it.  Guess it only takes a little bit of bitching once in awhile. lol

Yay for 94k! :)

LMAO-I am with you on this, Tracy.

I despise camping.  I just think it is a horrible way to spend your time.

My idea of roughing it is staying at a Motel 6.

My award-winning cake is baking right now.

I think the answer to yesterday's not-enough-moistness problem is to poke holes in the cake today before I pour the glaze over the top.

Then I'll win for sure.

I thought Mark would be a clear winner since there isn't even a category for his age.

But this morning my friend said that her daughter decorated a cake for the contest as well.

Her dd is in Mark's preschool class.

Our kitchen garbage is full.

I wish someone would take it out.

Sigh.

Someone other than me.

I haaaate camping. I love the outdoors, but I also love indoor plumbing, not sweating to death, and having 24/7 internet access. smile.gif

And a non-communal sleeping space. And...the list goes on.

I won! I won!

(Second place, but whatever.) :yay!

Henry also got 2nd place in the kids' decorated cakes category. :cheer

Mark didn't win anything but I gave him my ribbon since Henry had one, so he thinks he won too.

Woo-hoo!!
