Ok, so it isn't *quite* that bad, lmao.

Anna wants to be Widget from Wow Wow Wubbzy, and Kate wants to be Daisy.  They don't make/sell these, so I have to come up with them on my own.

HELP!!!!!!  I need some ideas on how to make these costumes.  Should I just go out and try to find some pink overalls and dress them up?  Start from scratch??  I don't sew much, so I am fearful of this whole process, lol.

Let me look for images-maybe that will help.  Seriously, I'll take any ideas you have.  I'm going to try and buy things that I can modify, but I can sew things if need be.

Thanks for your help-I know we have some very crafty people here!!!!! And Jayna, I need your input, master seamstress!!!!!

I hope I have my characters straight here. giggle.gif

Widget might not be too hard to do.  You could get pink over alls (osh kosh sells them) and a white blouse.  You could tack some pink ribbon or roping onto the cuffs of the blouse.  Look for pink bunny ears to put on her head.  If you want to make a "mask", you could do a paper mache cylinder with a balloon in the end and then cut out a hole for her face then paint it.

I think if you are doing Daisy I would be looking for a clearance white skirt and snatching up a couple.  You can use a fabric marker to make the lines on the skirt.  Maybe use a pink short sleeved t with a white tank over it for the top and fabric paint or glue on a flower applique.  Maybe you can use purple glitter spray on her hair and put her hair up in the pig tails then add pink bows.

That would be the Libby lazy way of doing it.  Oh and then have them carry a bag or something with the picture on it so people know. lol

For the skirt for Daisy you could go to the sewing section at Wal-Mart and look for rick-rack trim in that color and just hot glue it on or use fabric glue which would probably be best. :)

Thanks for the input!!! Libby, I am going to start scouring sale racks and such for the right color clothing. Hopefully I can find these things-but you have definitely helped me get some inspiration on how to get this done!!!

(now watch them change their minds on me, lol)
