Yesterday was our Meet-the-Teacher meeting for 4th grade. Henry's teacher, Mrs. P., is WONDERFUL! I kept hearing from everyone that she was great but now I've witnessed it in person.
She's so sweet and loving. She told all of us parents that she didn't give much homework because kids grow up so fast; she thinks they should spend time with their families when they're not at school. She's a grandmother.
Also on a good note, I like all of the parents of the kids in Henry's class. And he knows many, many of the kids in there, so he's happy. His best friend from 2nd grade is in his class and sits by him.
Awesome! Having a good teacher is SUCH a tremendous part of a successful school year! We haven't met Savanna's teacher yet, but I hope she gets a good one, as well!!
