I really hope we get it. Because it is a housing co-op, we have to go through an interview process. We lived in the co-op before and were members in good standing when we left so I am not too worried but you never know who is applying.
the apartment has two real bedrooms (one very small but we could put bunkbeds in). It also has another small room with the stairs to the attic in it that could easily be a bedroom. It has laundry in the apartment, an old kitchen and bathroom but they are ok. A big living room, dining room and best of all, a walk up attic that runs the whole length of the apartment. It would be a perfect play place for the kids and an office for us + still having lots of storage.
A big fenced in backyard.
I really really really hope we get it. If you can send us some positive thoughts, that would be wonderful.

they're going to live in an apt in the city while their house is on the market.
sonya, i have everything crossed that you get the apt! any idea when you'll know!?!?
I am soooooo tired this morning. Scott woke up with a very slight fever around midnight but seems to be fine now.
I have tons to do today. And really all this week. I really want to get the last few boxes unpacked, although we apparently dont need a single thing in them LOL.
Sonya I hope that the apartment comes through for you. It sounds great and the way the rooms our arranged, it sounds like it is really versatile too. Fenced in backyards are great too. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

we have a chance to move into the city. we'd take this apartment (if we get it) and then work extra hard to list our house.
it would be tight but we can handle the rent and our mortgage for a while during the time we are trying to sell our house.
so, if we get this place, we may be moving in September. FINGERS CROSSED. It is walkable to both of our works, daycare, grocery stores, liquor stores, coffee shops. On all the major bus routes. It would be perfect.

I'm taking Jake over to pick up his freshman schedule & books!
My teenage neighbors said they would watch Carrie & Mikey for me for a little bit so I don't have to bring everyone. (Jake didn't want the little ones to come)
he got a haircut yesterday (funny how he gets his hair cut all on his own now that i never nag him about it) and i freaked out when he got home. he looks exactly like his "donor"

Yikes!
My SIL has a child from a former boyfriend. The former boyfriend used to be my sister's boyfriend. It's such a small world like that.
Everyone goes on and on about how much he looks like my SIL but he is the spitting image of his "donor". The older he gets, the freaker it is.
my first flight was to Disney World. Well, technically it was to Bermuda but there was some sort of strike so we went to Disney instead. I don't remember all the details as I was 4.
The first flight for me was from Memphis to Canton, Ohio. I was competing for a scholarship at my dad's company so they flew me to the home headquarters. I was a senior in high school but didn't mind going to nowhere ville (dover, ohio is the exact location) because I lived there until the middle of my sophomore year and still had friends there.
Oh, I didn't get the scholarship either, but had lots of fun.
let me think - company headquartered in ohio....
hoover? (dyk i dated one of the hoover sons in HS - i coulda married a LOT of money....)
diebold?
belden?
now i am curious....
Unfortunately my dad didn't work for anyone quite that big. He worked for Marlite or Masonite. They kept changing the name but they made office partitions, slot walls, doors, and things of that nature that businesses use to build in the insides of their buidlings. We use to joke everytime we went to McDonalds about the bathroom door because my dad designed it.
ah - never heard of it! now i will think if you guys every time i see a bathroom door LOL!
