random question!

we were just in Maine for the past week and a half and on our travels Connor said he needed to go potty...we have a travel one in the car for emergencies so we pulled into the next parking lot on the road so he could use it.

so, the next parking lot on the road happened to be a college campus and there happened to be a tricycle and sand buckets, etc and a clothesline with kids clothes hanging outside and i though, "woah, how crazy would it be if that was YOUR apartment and here we are pulled over using a kiddy potty in the parking lot out front!!"

anywho--without mentioning the exact town for your privacy sake...do you think we were at your school? the town begins with a G...

:)

Dude, G?  I'm wracking my brain to thing what college is in a town that starts with G.

I was getting excited at the tricycle part, but nope, not us.  No sandbox, and fo sho, no clothesline.  Administrators would flip over that.

The only G town I can think of is Gardiner and I don't know a college there...

Now I'm curious biggrin

ps- was Yorks Wild Village lame?  Good?  Crappy?  Like I said, I haven't been in two decades, so I wasn't the most helpful there.

it was the university of southern maine...i *thought* we were in gorham when we passed that.

oh well! i thought it would have been a crazy coincidence!!

yorks was awesome!! the zoo part was decent, but the kids LOVED the kiddie rides--there were paddle boats you could bring out onto the duck pond, mini ferris wheel, train, bumper boats, etc etc--lots to do-we were there all day and had we not had dinner plans with friends in portland would've probably stayed atleast a couple more hours.

we spent 4 days in saco/old orchard-2 days at his aunts in steep falls (yawnville, usa, but atleast we went to sebago once), and 2 days in skowhegen (for a wedding--i woulnd't normally willingly vacation there;)

we had fun!

Gorham...duh!  Half of the U Southern Maine is in Gorham, the rest is in Portland.  I always forget the Gorham campus.

I grew up 15 minutes from OOB :)  Good memories!  I'm so glad York's was fun for you all :) :)
