I've decided I want to win the lottery and take cooking classes and eventually open my own bakery/catering company.
The problem with this plan is the lottery. I would love to win, but I refuse to play. I go to buy tickets, and say, damn, this is a HUGE waste of money! Then I get mad that someone is trying to rip me off, and I storm out.
Of course I regret the decision the next day when someone gets handed a huge check for a billion dollars, but oh well. I stand by my choice!
I called my OB this morning to see if I could get in and they were just about to call me.
The dr. definitely wants me to come in. That worries me but at least this isn't an office that's going to blow it off and just tell me to come in when I'm soaking 2 pads.
They could fit me in at 4 today but then I'd have to bring Meghan and it would be right after swimming lessons. I would really rather not have an internal with Meghan sitting right there. I rescheduled to tomorrow morning. Now I am really wishing I had a babysitter around here b/c I don't want to worry through another night. Bleck.

how much are you still spotting? is it red?
praying it is nothing.... (it most surely is nothing - you might had a low lying placenta or something, but in the scheme of things that is not a big deal...)
It was only that one time and it was brown and yellow (:puke).
I am still having mild cramps once in a while and a dull ache but I really think it's just the uterine stretching. At least I'm hoping. I have no idea to determine btw. that kind of pain and actual cramps.
My mom said it was probably just old blood being pushed out, which I tend to agree with. It's just hard not about the other possibilities as well. Especially after we just told everyone!
ahhh - nothing new? then i don't think you have anything to worry about!

I've done the same thing more times that I can count! Probably b/c I never feel like I should buy just one considering everyone on line in front of me is buying like 10. I can't stand the idea of taking $10 and throwing it in the garbage every week.

really. :)
Thanks! :) I would think if something was going on I would have had some additional symptoms by now. At least I would think I would. Really, I have no idea and am just trying to ease my mind.
Surprisingly, I'm really not that freaked out. I can't help but worry a little bit, but I also know that worrying, on top of all the other stress I'm feeling lately, is not going to help the situation. Deep breaths. LOL
Were you able to get an appt. with the new doctor today?
bert is going to every appt with me - without me asking! i think he only ever did that with timmy.
That's super exciting!
Do they perform an U/S at most visits there? Are you going to try and find out what you are having (sorry if you talked about it and I missed it-I'm out of the loop these days).

But, man, I really want to win the lottery!
My in-laws spend $10-$20 a week on lottery, playing the same numbers. They are convinced that the odds are stacking that they will win.
I feel sad, because the odds reset every week, and I think, how much would they have saved over the years if they just put that money into savings?
I guess they wouldn't have saved $120 million, which is why they keep playing, lol!
Toni how is life in Wisconsin? When does Dani start her new school?
Life here is great, although MUCH quieter. Spending a lot of time at the lake or at home, just fixing things up.
Dani starts school on Sept 1, after the county fair. All the schools start that late so that the 4H kids can attend the fair all day. It's taking some getting used to!
I start school on the 26th, and George should be starting work the week before, so we will be jumping headfirst into a new life pretty soon.
How is life in Indy?
life here is good. The state fair is going on. I heard they have chocolate fried bacon. yum! (not) Ethan starts pre-K tomorrow. He's very excited.
Did Dani join 4H? And will Jules go to preschool this year? Or is she home with your parents?

I feel the same way as you. But EJ plays. And I'm guessing he'll pay for me to do this as long as I promise to put out.
So I'm wondering if anyone remembers the freakout I had a couple of weeks ago about George missing his interview because I gave him bad directions.
The HR lady rescheduled him for last week, and after the morning introduction, the manager scheduled him for a follow-up interview.
He ended up getting the job!!!!
He goes in today for a drug test, an in-depth colorblindness test (it's for a printing company, so he has to be able to distinguish shades of colors), and something else.
If it goes well, he starts a week from Wed.
After 8 months of unemployment, this is like a dream for us. It's a great job with an awesome company, super family friendly. The guy that hired him used to work in the position that they hired George into, and thinks he has the potential to move up quickly in the company.

Ya, apparently chocolate bacon is all the rage here. Barf!
The first 4H meeting is the second Tues in Sept, and that's when she can sign up. She's super excited, for sure.
I will be home with Jules during the day, and she will be going to preschool 3 days a wee. She goes from super excited to scared pretty quickly, but I think she'll love it.
Is pre-K part of the public school system down there? They have K(4) here, but our district hasn't adopted it yet, so we are going with a private preschool.

no, it's part of the daycare he's been going to since EJ started working. But it's a different class with a different teacher and that's a HUGE deal to Ethan. His entire class is moving up at the same time. Public school starts tomorrow. All the current pre-K kids start kindergarten so the preschool class is moving up to pre-K and so on.
Jules will do fine once she is there. Drop off might be rough the first few days.

It's for a huge printing company (they print Newsweek, Time, and Playboy). He'll be working on a custom press, which prints custom inserts (basically the garbage you get in the mail that says "Congrats Alyssa, you've been selected to win $1000!")
It's an entry-level position, but it's a foot in the door of a REALLY good company, and there is potential for a great career for him.
The manager that hired him actually thought the story from what happened with his first interview was funny-apparently even life-long WI people hate driving through Waukesha.
