A girl I graduated High School with passed away last week.

She had just had a baby (C section) 2 days prior. I have no idea what happed yet but maybe her obit. will be up soon.

She lived in Tuscon, AZ so I should see if Jen or Kristi can look in the paper.

She has another little girl who I think is about 5 at home. SO SO SO sad. Her facebook profile is of her daughter holding the baby in the hospital bed. It really is almost too much to look at.

I think this is a great idea!   I am always looking for wall hangings for Meghan's room and can never really find anything (at least that is affordable).

Sorry your kids are being awful this morning.

Hopefully Dan will keep them out of the house for a really long time.

Good morning!

My kids are quietly watching the ifight Shelby Marx iCarly movie from the dvr.

I've already showered and dressed for church.

I need to do my hair and makeup.

Glen needs to get up and encourage the kids to get dressed for church.

Mark has been asking to go to the zoo for DAYS.

I may have to break down and take him today.

Good morning!

Dh and I had a date night last night. We went and had drinks and coffee and walked around our downtown area. We mostly just chatted but it was nice to have some time alone. I have no idea what we are doing today. Right now both dh and E are still asleep and my ds is in the bahamas on a private island with some friends (poor college student, NOT).

Di I can certainly understand why you are worried about the little bit of spotting but it really doesn't sound like it is a problem other than messing with your mind. Just to be on the safe side I sent a little prayer up for you. :) I am also sorry about your friend. That is really sad.

Sara your alone time sounds great! I hope you are able to enjoy it!

Robin if you go to the zoo today I hope it's not too crazy or stinky! I love going to the zoo but sometimes the stench gets to me.

Uh you know I'm kidding about my kids right? LMAO.

That is why the school countdown has begun.

Yes kids playing and moms drinking is definitely something I'm not opposed to.

Maybe we'll get invited to our friend's house.

You know...the one with the roof deck. wink

I knew you were kidding LMAO.

At least they could entertain each other, yes?

Especially if our friend with the roof deck invites us over. I know she has all kinds of stuff our kids could entertain themselves with.

Then we could have casual convo with her..right? Maybe about books or movies? That's good topic for conversation...   *giggle*

Only 2 days until school! YAY! I'm so excited...

I love your av LOL.. I need to make my av bigger.. more naked Edward to look at.

Yes our friend has a huge sport court with stadium style lights so we can talk about books and movies well into the evening while our kids play basketball and ride their bikes.

We'd have to bring our own alcohol to drink on the roof deck though because her house is alcohol free.

RyRy starts Monday?! Jealous!!!

my shoulder is not improving at all.

went to my osteopath, and of course he scared the crap outta me about not taking cortisone, it still is dangerous... yada yada...  he gave me the name of a german doc to see to get a second opinion - hoping to get in this week.

he did tell me that he is treating someone, and what the doctors did to them is put them under general anesthesia and forced the arm to move by breaking all the scar tissues that are forming in order for the shoulder to be able to move again - it of course needs lots of pt after as well.  but that also scared the shit out of me.  he thinks the general anesthesia could be a better option than the cortisone shots.  i did google "frozen shoulder treatment"  and this general anesthesia/breaking and forcing it is a common option....

i have been trying to avoid thinking about it till monday.... :sigh

Good morning! yawn.gif

It's a really rainy morning here today so looks like we'll be inside today.  Now... to figure out something to do that does not involve the TV or video games.

I had some brownish yellow spotting yesterday so I went into my quiet freak out mode.  It was right before we went to play mini golf so I was in their bathroom every 2 seconds checking.  It was only one occurance so I'm trying to be calm about it.  No *real* cramping I think, but I still do feel have that uncomfortable uterine stretching feeling(which was hurting pretty bad Friday night).  I called my dr. yesterday but the office was closed.  I'm sure they'll say only to go to the ER if it's red and a lot.  Hopefully they'll let me come in next week.

i missed this earlier!

are you constipiated?  sometimes i have  bit of brown discharge after i have to strain a bit...

you really should be ok, but yeah get checked out if it gets red.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone!

I actually am a bit constipated but I didn't try to go before that (how's that for too much info?! LOL)

I did move the couches around the night before so I could vacuum, but it really wasn't hard since they are on the rug.  I don't think that would have done it, but you never know.

At this point, I'm just trying to decipher between cramps and the whole stretching feeling.  I think I've heard that when you have cramps, you know you have cramps though.

I'm going to see if they can see me this week anyway.  I'm having a tooth extracted on Friday so I'd rather get checked out and the a-ok before that.

I'm so sorry about your shoulder.  I can't imagine how awful it must be to not be able to use one of your arms.  Everything is exaggerated when you are pregnant too. :glum  I hope this new doctor has some good advice for you!

I don't know if I can go so far as to say it's weird b/c I know things are done differently all over the country.  I will say it's not something I would do.  If I was having a BBQ, hosting a holiday or something along those lines, I might (probably wouldn't unless someone asked what they could bring).   Not for a b-day party though.
