My new living room!

I am not "finished" yet - I still have to find some window treatments and the piano is not finished. (the piano is on the opposite wall of the window) we are also going to be putting the Christmas tree up tomorrow and it will go in the corner by the window.

but, so far this is what I have.  I painted the walls a cobalt blue and just love it! I reuphostered the chairs (they were a CL find along with the couch and coffee table).

 Thanks!  I love the window too, but it was such a pita to paint. the mouldings are so thick!!  as you can see, I didn't quite get an even line to the ceiling (I never did get anyone to help me, i just used the extension and the attachment for the ceiling, but since my walls are so uneven, i could not get a "smooth" line).  also, i really wish I would have held off for the bigger rug (the 8x10) the 5x7 is ok, but it is really not large enough for the room. live and learn, i guesss ;) 

I am waiting for a stove (and a good day for lighting in the kitchen) every time I take a picture, it looks SO dark, but it isn't in person. I also ordered some cabinet latches for that cabinet. I CANNOt wait to get them. so excited (yes, hardware gets me excited ;) lol
