Who else is making some homemade gifts this year? Maybe ideas you saw on Pinterest? My kids always make homemade gifts for their aunts and uncles. So far we have planned to make fried marble necklaces, chocolate dipped coffee stirrers and some type of ornament (yet to be determined).
My gf (7 of us) are doing a pinterest gift exchange. I have no idea what they are making, but I am making the jolly rancher vodka with some cute little labels individual named after stuff they like. I'm pretty stoked to see what the other 6 things are! I can't wait to see your fried marbles - it's one of the things I desperately want to do and keep putting off.
probably boring, but we've started canning strawberry/blackberry/apple jams each summer and fall. We give away those to just about everyone that you typically buy smaller stuff for: teachers, aunts/uncles, people at work, neighbors, etc.
Not very pinterest, but I promise, Travis's jams are super yummy :)
oh, and we don't have the supplies here- they are in storage still, but once we are back in our house we make our own candles. So much fun, and they last so much longer than store bought :)
Jenn, love the idea of making jams! Nice change from the usual cookies that they probably get a ton of. I'm planning on making chocolate dipped biscotti this year, maybe with a coffee gc depending on how much we love the teacher.
