Yeah I said it. ;) I'm looking for one for our cabin. Any suggestions about where to get a nice one? Or all they all the same and I should just get one at Target? TIA

I've been happy with the one we got at Home Depot.

We had a bog standard WM one for ages which bothered me no end cause you could see between the layers of branches. We splurged last year on a super nice (I think Martha Stewart one) from Home Depot... Words cannot describe the difference, and how much I love this one by comparison. Anyway all that to say there can be a big diff between trees but I don't think you need to go out of your way to find a good quality one.

Ditto Lucy on the WM one.  HATE ours.  It was fine year 1, but after a year in storage, all other years it looks like obvious layers.

Maybe I'll splurge on a nicer one after Christmas :)

Good to know. I'll head to Home Depot tomorrow. MAYBE I'll even think about getting one for the house. I always get my trees at Target until they stopped selling them last year. I got one at Lowes and it had absolutely no smell to it. That's the whe point for me. I also refuse to pay christmas tree lot prices. So even though I'm a real tree gal through and through, I think I might throw in the flag. :(

Christmas tree smell is what Yankee Candle is for :) Much more controllable too.

If you want to spent $$$$ look at the ones on Frontgate.com  I couldn't spend the money but after researching last year we bought a 7.5 ft GE one and really liked it.  You have to spent quite a bit of time opening all the branches but it was really nice was you were done.
