hey girls,

i was thinking that now that our 05'ers are starting to read and write it might be fun to set up some type of pen pal exchange for them to practice writing (plus how fun is it to get mail at that age?!) let me know if anyone would be interested:)

Such a great idea. I was recently thinking that I missed our swaps, and this would be even better. Kiera loves to get the mail, and loves actually getting mail!

This is a pretty neat idea...Count us in. Colin could use some work on his finger spacing and spelling! Plus he geeks out when he gets mail. :)

Lucas loves to get mail and asks everyday if there is something for him even though there rarely is.... I think he would love to do this!

 personally - I'd like to have it be where Jake got a letter from whom he sent a letter to.

I told him about it - he was excited.

but he told me I need to get to writing . . .  um, I might help him but ultimately I'd like for him to write the letters.  I know that the first few he will write some and I might write some . . .  I just can't picture him writing more than a sentence!

this sounds like such a cute idea! i'd love to get involved.  do you think we should partner up accd to gender? i know R would be more interested in writing and receiving from a girl - she's sort of in that girls-only stage...
