does anybody know what kind of supplies they need for first grade? I am sure he will get a list the first day of school but I wanted to get them early. Thanks!
i'm sure it's different at every school, but here, we had to have the usual..pencils, glue sticks, scissors, paper, erasers, and of course paper towels, zip lock bags, etc..
It's definitely school/grade specific so I wouldn't go out and get anything without checking first. Our school has us buy them from the school so you might want to check with the school first.
I also got Mary Beth's list off of her school's website. The only thing on her list that I found strange was "2 packs of big pencils." Huh? She didn't use the big fat pencils in K, so why would they in 1st? Anyway, other than that it was the basic stuff - washable markers, crayons, 1/2" binder, folder, etc.
edited to add that it is CRAZY that our July babies are in 1st grade!!! (or K for some)
