Summer movies

Hey just thought we could start a thread on what movies we have seen this summer so far and whether you thought they were good/bad/suitable/not suitable for our kids.  I was thinking of taking Joe to see Mr Popper's Peguins cause he thinks the trailer is hilarious but thinking back to some of Jim Carey's other movies they might be funny but more geared for older kids.  Anyway thought it would be good to have somewhere to go to see these kinds of things.

To start, we saw Kung Fu Panda 2 the other week and both kids thought it was pretty good, though I don't think it was Bel's kind of movie since she doesn't like hitting or violence of any kind, but she still wasn't too offended by it.

We also saw Clifford the Big Red Dog's Big Movie, Beezus and Ramona and Megamind - I know these aren't at the movies anymore but we saw them at our Summer Movie thing and thought they were all really good.

just chiming in to say that the mr. popper's penguins movie is "dove foundation approved." if i remember correctly, they are a christian organization that reviews how family appropriate movies are. they say 12 and over on this site but i would probably take my 2 to see it.

Thanks April. That is good to know, I just keep thinking back to Liar Liar which I found a terribly sad film.
