Hey Robin!

Would you mind sharing some of the crafty type projects you are doing with your summer campers at your job?  I remember you mentioning one project in one of the chats within the last couple of weeks that really interested me  but I don't remember and will never find it in the daily chats.

TIA  smile

I'm keeping a running tab in my thread in the primary folder (or at least trying to) just for my own benefit.

So far we've painted ceramic flowerpots, make pictures out of glue designs and colored sand, and . . . made fuse bead designs. Those have another name but I can't think of it at the moment.

Tuesday we took a bunch of balloons--just to bop around the room, then I had the DUMB idea for them to decorate them with markers. DO NOT USE THIS IDEA! The ink rubs off on everyone/everything that the balloon touches.

Tomorrow we're going to make dog masks from a template Henry found online. And probably play with the fuse beads again since we didn't use them Tuesday.

I'm also doing at least one science experiment with them each Tuesday and Thursday.

Later, maybe next Tuesday or Thursday, we're going to make "gingerbread houses" but with summer (or patriotic) colored candy instead of Christmas candy. I need to do some prep work for those but nothing too extensive. I just need to buy or borrow a glue gun, then glue graham crackers to some milk cartons. Luckily I got some never-opened empties from church that I can use as my bases.
