Should I get a new stroller?

Bill is so anti stroller for this baby. But I feel we will need something.

Ok, so here is what we have-we still have the snap and go for when the baby is in the infant seat. And we have the chicco umbrella kind-you know-the one that comes in different colors? Ours is the red one.

Bill says that is enough. I say it isn't. So which one of us is right???

If I get something else, I was thinking of maybe trying a jogger this time? Like look for a used BOB or city mini kind? Or should I just hit up once upon a child and get a cheap used stroller? We had the graco lite kind or whatever it was with the other two, but we got rid of that once we started using the double for them, which obviously we have also gotten rid of.

I want something with a tray. And a basket in case we go somewhere and I want to put crap down. And I want something that reclines in case of needing naps. IDT the chicco will fit the bill.

Thoughts?

i think those two you have are probably fine. Unless your going to go to like disney and need a bigger basket or whatever than an umbrella would offer.

I have 4 different strollers so I always jump at a new one, but honestly I think the snap and go and umbrella would be fine.

i wanted to add you can always get one later if the need arises for that reclining option etc. But Id hate for you to spend the money now and not need it

I was going to say this.

We have the snap and go and we just started using an umbrella now that the weather is getting nice.

I might feel differently on our first trip to the zoo with the umbrella (I think Eli is getting a little too curious to be content in the snap and go) but as of right now that is fine.

Thanks ladies!

I am not looking to buy anything new regardless-used strollers are so cheap and easy to come by. But you are right-I could totally hold off and see how things go before buying anything else. We will be in the snap and go for a while anyway.

I just know that in my experience, the umbrella was great later on, but I didn't like it as much when they were out of the snap and go, but still little.

But, we don't need anything to start, so I might as well just hold off! Bill will be happy for sure, lol.

Dear God, I hope you aren't not actually intending to tell him people agreed with him.

Don't you dare.

Just don't bring it up again until you find that you need one (or until you want one bad enough to fight for it. I don't know that it's a necessity, but I'm kind of a fan of getting fun things you wanted the first time but didn't know to get, when you have another. Can you tell I'm validating purchases in the future for myself? lmao!)

But don't tell Bill he's right. That's the true point of my response.

I would just take the wait and see approach like the others suggested.  You never know when someone might have something to give you!  It happened to my sister quite a bit this past year.

oh yeah, I should clarify I'm with Leah. Don't tell him. Just wait until you want something. Because we aren't saying you don't need one, we are just saying to wait a bit.

 L.M.A.O.

No worries, I had ZERO intention of telling him he may have been right.

Leah-I am all for getting fun new things!!!!

Bill on the other hand, thinks it is wasteful to get new stuff for one more baby

though I am secretly hoping somehow it won't be the last one. Shhhh....

I would wait and see. We have the snap and go which is what we have used mainly just recently have we been using our single. We have a Baby Jogger City Mini. I love it! Not a jogging stroller though if that is what use you want for it and I did not nor do I plan to pay the extra money for the tray.

We chose the wait and see option with a double stroller. In the end I just got one a month ago and we have already used it quite a few times but I was fine waiting it out because honestly I would've never needed it through the winter anyway.

I would be fine with a nice umbrella and a snap and go. I went through a but of a stroller obession a few years ago and ended up with a Maclaren umbrella which I love!!

I'd garage sale this summer and see what is about!
