The drapes/curtains in the kitchen on the sliding door, were those already there or did you buy those? Would you recommend overstock for something like that, or do you think I can find a decent deal in stores?

all of the window treatments were already here, thankfully, because i suck at window treatments. LOL!
i will say that i am a HUGE fan of overstock. i've never had a bad experience with them.
the panels in the kitchen are grommet-top ones and overstock has quite a few depending on what you need. i think their prices are really reasonable.
Thanks! I suck at window treatments too, but I do know I don't want the vertical blinds on the sliding door like Dom was thinking about getting. I liked the look of yours. I'll browse around overstock then.
And on that note, can you give me a link to your washer dryer? I know you did a ton of research, which is usually my MO, but, I dont knwo where to start, and I think we will need new ones sooner rather than later...
