Indoor/outdoor rugs question

does anyone have a rug that can be used for indoor/outdoor use and uses it indoors?  if so, can you tell me how it feels, does it look like an "outside" rug? 

I am debating getting one for our DR but the whole "you can rinse it off with a hose" is losing me.

question, why do you want an indoor/outdoor rug for the dining room? Most of them that I have had are not dining room quality, but I guess it depends what you are looking for. Like what do you expect out of it?

The rugs from that site have great reviews from many people who use them indoors. I never realized they made them that nice.

it seems like every rug I like and can afford is an indoor/outdoor rug - i am leaning towards this one  I love that style and color.  Our DR is in the middle of our house so it is like a through traffic area (not sure how to explain what I mean) but you have to step on a rug to get through to the kitchen, for example.  the rug i have now is a jute rug and i like it, but want something with some pattern and durability.

lizzy, have you checked overstock?

we got our rugs there this week (and we got our last set of rugs for the old house from there too) and we have been impressed with price and quality.

not the same, but here is an overstock version of the rug that you linked and it's 25% of the price.
