Anyone ever use Depo

OK I am on depo right now. It is my first and last shot and Im about 9 weeks in.

Anyway I skipped my first period on it, and took a pg test and it was negative.

TMI alert


Now Im on day 11 of a period and I dont know if its when my next period should have been and on day 6 I passed a large amount of tissue and nothing since.

Is this normal on Depo or should I call my doctor.

I hated depo and bled the whole time I was on it.

I'd call and ask.

I bled for almost the first three months I was on depo, and then after that it was great. I'd start getting crampy and spotting right around when my next shot was due. I do remember passing alot of blood/clots though. It was terrible, but I stuck it out and it paid off for me. I'd call your doc though if you are concerned.

I've never been on depo but my BFF used to use it but she always complained that she had the craziest periods on it and stopped using it.
