smoked Turkey?!?

I know this should probably go in another folder but I am worried nobody will see it so here goes....

DH's boss gave him a ham and turkey at Christmas. We cooked the ham and put the turkey in the freezer. My SIL is staying with us and took it out on Sunday to thaw and cook... only we don't know how we are supposed to cook it.

It's a whole smoked turkey. The only thing the bird says on it is "cook and serve. Cook to 160*F"

What temp should it be cooked on? For how long? Do I need to do anything to it? I've never cooked a turkey in my entire life.... HELP!

How many lbs is it? I cook my whole turkey on 325. I put in a shallow pan with water and tent foil over it.I take off the foil the last hour. It should reach internal temp of 180.

If you tell me lbs, I can tell you how long to cook.

I wash turkey before and have put a garlic butter mix under skin, but you can cook it as is. Also, make sure the turkey does not have any gizzard or anything in the cavity.

Does it have the brand name on it so you can look it up on the internet? Is it raw? I thought most smoked turkey is cooked. Melissa is right about cooking it if is not cooked.

It should say on the front under title. If you cut into it you can tell. I mean you should be able to tell bu just looking at it.

The color of it looks cooked. Plus, smoked means a way of cooking like Libby said. Open it up and take a slice. Looks like you can slice it and just heat slices. Never seen one like that though. I have never bought a smoked turkey though.
