coupon girls, help!

i can never figure out how to combine the bxgx deals.  can someone help me figure it out?

my grocery store is doing B1G1 on soyjoy bars next week.  there are B2G1 coupons.

How will i combine the deals and what will i get?

my thinking is that the BOTH of the bars i buy with the B1G1 deal IN STORE will count as the 2 that i buy for the B2G1 coupons.  so in reality i will B1G2?

am i right?

tia!

i would think it would end up b2g3. you have to buy 2 for the coupon to get the free one but u would also get the 1 free from the store for each.

im not 100 percent sure though

i was thinking that the free one from the store counts as one of the 2 i bought. does that make sense? the coupon doesn't know that the store gave it to me free.

My understanding is that if it's a b1g1, that it counts as two products. So your thinking that it is b1g2 correct.

If you think about it, if you had a two coupons for a buck off each, they would take both coupons. I don't see why this would be any different. Honestly, I think the biggest issue you will have with it is if you get an uppity cashier.

libby is right.

the store's b1g1 sale is, in essence,  fulfilling the requirement of that 2nd bar being purchased.  april buys 1, the store buys 1, the coupon buys 1. april gets to eat all 3.:)

more importantly...do you like soy joy bars?  i'm not a fan myself.
