I think the provera is working. WOO HOO! I feel like I'm smack dab in the middle of PMSing and I can't believe it but I am actually excited. It would be awesome if the provera worked this first go round and I get my period in a day or two and then I can start clomid and doing the deed and then get knocked up. Sorry I'm rambling but I don't think anyone else but you wonderful ladies would understand!!!

Kari, this is GREAT news!!!! I am so excited for you!!!! I mean, of course PMS sucks, but it is so fantastic that the provera is doing its job!!!! Will you use OPKs after the clomid, or just have lots of secks?

I have everything crossed for you!!!

The Dr told us to just have secks on the 12,14,16,18,20 days (I think, I have it written down on the fridge) of my cycle so I think we'll just do that this first try. I'm also supposed to take musinex.

Awesome!!! Hopefully that has you well covered (though I will tell you that I O'd on day 11 on the first cycle that I started back to charting, so it might not hurt to start sooner, if you think you two can keep up the schedule). Make sure you get the plain mucinex-nothing with a D or anything else after it.

Have you ever used pre-seed? It is a fertility safe lubrication. I got mine on Amazon, though there might be places that have it cheaper. Sometimes we need lube and sometimes not, but I didn't want to kill the little swimmers with other kinds!!

Good luck and have fun!!!!

Thanks for all the tips. I guess I'm just not sure how to even begin charting... are there any websites or books that you could recommend? I have no clue what I am doing!

I still haven't started my period. I was reading online and most people start after they have been off provera for 5 days... today is my day 5. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do if I don't start it so I guess I just need to call the doctor and ask.

Oh and thanks for the lube tip! I've never heard of that before... good to know!

Fertility friend is a great resource, so I second that. I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility before I ever started charting, and I learned a lot from that book as well. They have a website too-tcoyf.com-which has forums and such as well. I have found both of those sites to be really great!!!

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll start researching now. The provera is really working. Hope this isn't TMI but when I just used the bathroom I had a slight bit of light brownish blood when I wiped. So does today count as day 1? Well it is almost midnight so maybe Sunday should be day 1. I start clomid and musinex on day 5

I would like to know this too.

I often spot pre-AF anymore, and I don't count it as Day 1 until I have red blood and a normal AF flow.

My Dr told me to start counting day 1 even if it was just spotting... but the reason I wasn't sure if I should count it or not as day one is that it was 11pm and almost Sunday anyway?!? I think I'll count today as day 1.
