Let me preface this by saying Im sure everything is fine.

Anyway I had a growth scan yesterday and although I couldnt see the screen directly I kinda could glance at it through the side of my eye.

It looked tlike the babys head measured right where I should be but some other things she measured were around 30 weeks.

I know this could mean IUGR, which is what Im being watched for for BP issues in the past, plus my steroid medication, and a blood disorder I recently had a relative test positive for but they cant test me while being pregnant and have accurate results.

Im sure its fine because if it was major they would have said something there, it seems like something they just watch for now and Im sure its fine because she gave me an estamated weight at around 4lbs which I think is normal (last scan she was 25th percent and IUGR is at 10 %)

anyway Ive just been stressing about it since the appt and I dont see the OB till Tuesday so any P and PT are appreciated.

Praying for you!

Van had the two vessels umbilical cord situation and the entire time they kept saying there might be some smaller growth or whatever.  Ultrasound even said he looked smaller in the bottom half, etc etc... said he seemed to be about 2-3 weeks behind then 4 weeks behind a month before birth (that was since like week 26 or so and I had u/s every two weeks till birth at 39 wks) He was born 6lbs 5oz and 19 or 20" long.  Totally normal.  The thing with ultrasounds is they pick up way too much.  It was way OFF from what they thought in u/s.  I agree, if it was more urgent than that they would have said something right then.  I would try and not to worry about it too much =)  I know easier said than done.

Thinking of you and your baby! Those ultrasounds get more inaccurate as the baby grows..... with Aubrey they kept telling me she was going to be over 9lbs, and she was 6lbs 9 oz, and with Avery they said she was small...and she was, but not even close to as small as they were leading on. Praying that all is well and your baby is growing perfectly!
