So I think I have pretty much decided on a name for the baby. I dont have a middle name yet but Ill get there.

Anyway Im really conflicted on the spelling.

The traditional spelling is Daphne so Im tempted to go that route just so she wont constantly have to spell her name for people. For me though reading it I want to say Daf-n.

I originally liked Daphnie but now that looks super girly to me and I wonder if shes a tomboy if its too girly of a spelling. (I know Im crazy)

And then theres Daphney which Im kind of indifferent on. Kaylen and Raymond both have Ys in their name so I think it kinda goes.

So which do you like

I thought the traditional spelling was -ie so that's how I voted. I don't think it's super girly and I'm like the anti-girl.

I like them in this order Daphne, Daphnie, and Daphney - but really, I like the first two most.

Daphne was my first choice.  Then Daphnie.  Not too crazy about the Y.

I like Daphne best, but to me it seems more sophisticated or less girly than the other two. When I see ie or y on the end it often reminds me of nicknames like sissy, katie, or other shortened names. But, this is also coming from someone that has always gone by a name that ends in a y. lmao.gif (I am fine with my name btw).
