After 18 months I can't believe it. It is bittersweet though. I am glad to be going back to work but sad I have to leave Dominic all day. I have to pull him out of his kindergarten class because they don't have the after school program for 1/2 day kindergarten. They have daycares that transport but I have seen a couple of them and they don't stay with the kids, they just drop them off and leave and I am not comfortable with that. And one that I looked at was only $30 less a week then if I put him back in his daycare he was at that has a full day kindergarten, plus it is right around the corner from where I will be working, I could seriously walk there, so that will be nice. I explained it to Dominic and I felt bad because he said " I don't want to leave, I want to learn the rest of the sign language letters". I hope I don't cry my first day.
Congrats! Sad for Dominic but it's so early in the year, I'm sure he'll do fine.
What will you be doing?
I will be working for a medical/dental supply company as a credit representative. It is a really good company and I will only be starting at $1.00 less per hour than I was making at my last job when I was laid off.
Thank you everybody! I just found out they have awesome benefits too, only $21 a week for medical, dental and vision for all of us! Such a relief after having no insurance for 18 months!
