Does your child ever complain that the crotch strap hurts their pee-pee? Dominic has been complaining of this lately and it is almost to where I want to switch him to the seat belt with the booster even though he is only 38 pounds. This was the whole point of my buying this car seat so he could be in it until 65 pounds but it is ridiculous! What do you do if your child complains?

sounds like either the straps are too tight or he is too tall for the straps. You can try adjusting them.

Mason doesn't complain about it but I always feel like I'm going to hurt him when I buckle him in!

Can you try making the seat more upright so he's not sliding forward?  Or get him a cup?  ;)

Owen does not complain. He buckles himself in and never says anything.

Do you have it in the second slot, the furthest one out? Also you can take that padding off around the actually harness part at the crotch and that should give him a little more space as well.

And you probably do, but just to throw out there did you take the infant padding out?

Bryson uses the nautilus and we haven't had any trouble, he's only two though and pretty small still.

I do have it in the second slot and I researched it and I did still have the infant padding in, I did not know I was supposed to remove, so I took it out and he seems better with it.

Oh good, hopefully that will solve the problem for good. :)
