What cleaner should I use?

We don't have a backsplash behind our stovetop, just eggshell paint.

Needless to say it has built up grease splatter on it, thanks to my mega protein diet.

Anyway, what do you think the best cleaner is to cut through the caked on grease?

I'm lazy and want to use minimal manpower.

Buy rubber gloves and a jug of ammonia. Open windows (it's strong smelling). Nothing cleans up grease like ammonia.
