due to many unforeseen circumstances, i'm starting tomorrow instead of tuesday! yippeeeee!!!
we are going to try to stay gone from jammi's for as long as possible (her poor dh was feeling so burned out with so many kids in the house) and i'm staying with my friend deborah this weekend. she's starting MF tomorrow, so the timing is just perfect!
also, since i've been sick all week, i've literally had hardly anything to eat all week - only cantaloupe tuesday, a cup of chicken soup wednesday and literally nothing thursday, so i'm hoping transitioning into the diet tomorrow won't be as bad b/c i've been deprived of calories all week.
i'll be a saturday weigher instead of a tuesday weigher, but i'll still check in every week.

we'll be staying at the hotel with matt next week, which will make it tricky for cooking, but i will figure something out. i'm sure it will be fine. there's a fridge in his room, but i'm not sure what i'm going to do about a blender. not to mention the fact that we're going to be eating dinner out several nights. he does have late meetings a few nights, so i can probably do a salad bar take out from a grocery store for me with my approved dressing and then something else for the kids.

You can order any meat, just ask that they don't cook it in oil or butter.
Same for steamed veggies, ask that they just steam them with no oil. Oh and ask for a double or triple order because they for sure won't bring you enough. The amount of veggies you get it a huge portion.
I have been known to take I can't believe it's not butter in my purse with me for my veggies.
Just check the quick start guide to see what veggies to eat with which meats.
Like you can't have a salad with steak because you can't have the healthy fat in the dressing, but you could have a salad with dressing with some kinds of fish.
I suggest carrying that page of the guide in your purse with you. I still refer to it all of the time.
Kristi please don't tell me that about the shrimp. Ack! I don't eat any fish or seafood so I'm going to have to stick to turkey chicken and steak.
I'm going to get that walden farms dressing today so I don't have to worry about healthy fats with steak. I'll just use the light dressings with chicken and turkey.

Shrimp is just my go to easy thing to make and it's one thing that I don't get sick of.
Don't forget ground beef and ground turkey.
I like to get lettuce and put ground beef on top and put 3 tbs of salsa on it to make a little taco salad.
Don't forget eggs too.
Once a week you can have hard boiled eggs for dinner. That's good for when you don't have any meat defrosted.

So you made a shake and then added some to your coffee? How does it taste?

i made a vanilla shake & added some to my coffee (and 1 packet of splenda)
it's not starbucks but it will do for now. i'l going to drink the rest of that shake for my breakfast.
i was planning to start tuesday but then something roxana said really stuck with me - she said she was starting right away because there would always be a party or reason to wait. that's me - waiting because it was easier. so i decided to start today. i had the food, i bought some walden farms stuff yesterday ... no reason to wait.
